Hey, Mick. Good repair video. Could you do a video on replacement of the oil line and pump on a jonsered/husqvarna chain saw? My older Jonsered CS2150 spews oil within the entire clutch area including the cover. What a mess, especially after cutting wood. Chain is still well lubricated. Tired adjusting the oil dispensing regulator underneath the saw, but a no go. There are not that many repair videos on TH-cam relating to jonsered/husqvarna chain saws; most deal with Stihl. I wonder why. Preference wise, I prefer the Swedish saws over the German and Japanese saws. (I own all 3) More compact, light weight, easy to handle, idle so much smoother (no dancing!) and pack a more powerful cutting punch sizewise without bogging down. Seems Stihl has cornered the market in mostly urban areas. Here in Ontario, Canada and the most of the States, the saw of choice by professional loggers and wood cutters is husqvarna. Does that tell us something? Far better saws! Cheers, eh! 🍁🍺🍺
I use hose pipe pliers and grab the drum. After taking the e-clip and washer off. Then pull up on it while rotating it back and forth. Normally occurs when the bearing has been plugged up with plant material so it becomes bigger than the drum's ID.
Follow up question, what caused the clutch to break? I inherited Stihl 029 from my father in law and I was using it to cut down one pine tree before it stopped working. Did I do something wrong or it's simply because it's old and heavily used?

Hi Mick , stihl 038 , my drum is rock solid, how to get it off ?
Wd40 it over night . Then with a pair of grips get hold of it and wiggle it .. side to side. It should come off . They can be a bugger
I use hose pipe pliers and grab the drum. After taking the e-clip and washer off. Then pull up on it while rotating it back and forth. Normally occurs when the bearing has been plugged up with plant material so it becomes bigger than the drum's ID.
Thank you! Exactly what I need to replace broken piston, or clutch? Whatever the round part under the sprocket is called.

My Echo CS-370 has the sprocket behind the clutch... Hope the disassembly is similar.
Can you advise on parts (clutch parts) source for a husqvarna 435 xtorq please?
