My 9 year old son attended your catcher camp last weekend and learned a ton!!! He had a game a few days ago and DOMINATED as catcher. He became a wall and nothing got past him. His blocks were impeccable. Thank you so much for the incredible lessons and great videos.
Wow, just found your Instagram and TH-cam. I have a 12yo softball catcher. You explain and demonstrate everything so well. She currently does not have a catching instructor. We will definitely be working on some of the stuff in your videos. Good Stuff! Thanks
learning a bunch from you dude and I really appreciate it. but I do have a question. I go with LKD with no runners on base and it is easier to receive pitches and more smooth. but how would it be easier to go side to side with the LKD especially with a bad fastball or slider or curve?
I know several catchers personally who work off their left knee all game. The main feedback is make sure you spend time working on mobility! going side to side is a challenge at first. work on driving glove side and sliding the left knee. work on driving the right knee down going arm side. just takes practice!
This is probably the best information and explanation I’ve gotten on blocking thankyou !
