You may want to put two or three light layers of the Daniel Smith Transparent watercolor ground or Golden Glazing Liquid Satin on a page that comes from any adult coloring book printed on Amazon paper and letting that dry first if possible over night at least before painting with watercolor paints on the page afterwards. The Daniel Smith Transparent watercolor ground or the Golden Glazing Liquid Satin makes the page accept watercolors more easily without it crinkling the page up too much. You can also use the Daniel Smith Transparent Watercolor Ground or the Golden Glazing Liquid Satin on one side of images that are printed on both sides of the page to allow you to color both sides of the page with alcohol markers without the alcohol marker going on the other side of the page.
@brittanydaniels1102 Great tips, thank you! I have the golden glazing liquid on my wishlist, but I haven't heard of the Daniel Smith one. I also have some gesso I want to try on an Amazon paper page.
Great haul, Juliann! I was wondering if you noticed whether there were any white paint mixing pallets like your blue one? It’s exactly what I’ve been hoping to find!
Great haul. The pencils like ok pretty. 😊
Great haul Julianne- enjoy your new goodies ❤
Thanks Jo. 🥰 I will. I still need to sharpen those pencils and give them a proper go soon lol

I've used those dollarama pencils before. They are not the worst i've ever used honestly. in some ways they are better than crayolas/amazon basics
@@winter89_colours I haven't tried Amazon basics, but they seem better to me than crayolas anyway.

@jenneke2 the blue was the only colour unfortunately. A white one would be perfect though.
