Hi everyone! What do you think of us using a tripod? Was this a better view for you? Any feedback is always appreciated 😁 Also, over 90% of you aren't subscribed... So hit that subscribe button and help us out 🤪 Thanks!
I am subscribed and also yes it’s not a bad vid quality 2 I’m starting a drainage channel and love watching your videos pal Got the same jetter as you as well 👍🏽
This was a tough one! Great Job by the way! I was glad to see that this Customer had some common sense and didn’t have any of their Lawn Chairs or Garden Hoses or other things in your way so that you could do your job. The smell has always got to be God Awful for you and never do you once complain! Reguardless, your Services are much needed! Great Job!
THANK YOU for using the tripod. And your head cam movement was much less than previous times. I enjoyed this video much better. Stubborn wipes blockage, but you got it done.
I'm glad! I think the upgrade to the better camera with better stabilisation made a lot of difference as well. Just now need a tripod that stays stood up 😂
That was very clogged but you did an awesome job on clearing it up. The Tripod is a great way to film... looking forward to more of that in the future. Loving that Blue Glove and Hose!!! :)
another excellent job. if it was my house,i'd have the bins & furniture cleared away before you arrive. even a door left on the path. great work & clean up done. love the liverpool accent 👏👍
Maybe a content idea guys, I think you guys should do a series on “ what it’s like doing this job for the first time?” Can’t be easy having to go through this at the beginning!
Loved the view from the tripod and then it falls over 😂. Thankfully not into the manhole. The headcam one you could only see half the manhole. Enjoying the evolution of how you guys produce your content and take our comments on board. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Another great video. Very impressed with how your van is do well organized. I work that way as well. Keeps the frustration level down. Good tripod video as well. Keep up the good work
Hi! I found your channel at the suggestion of youtube, several months ago I also follow Drain addict, I am also a plumber, but in Argentina, South America. I see that his jet equipment is different from the Ollie (Drain addict), he also has his truck more orderly !!! hahaha. Here in Argentina uncovering is done, but they are mechanical, there are few companies that uncover with a jet !!! Generally, these teams have medium-sized companies, one of the techniques that I use to uncover is to use the effect of atmospheric pressure !!, I fill 6 or 8 20-liter buckets and with the help of an assistant I try to dump them all at the same time !! the amount of water added to its weight generates a terrible push !!! sometimes it works! all this combined with the use of uncovering rods! from now on attentive to your publications !!!! my regards from Argentina !!! I did all this text using the Google translator, because my level of English is very low !!! haha
You can fish them out to a point but it really is quite hard to in practice. Sometimes it is just best to push out to the main drain, were they enter a pipe with a much larger diameter.
I wonder what every plumber would do if they ran into the people who are responsible for manufacturing, advertising and selling those "flushable" wipes lol
Its beyond me why the government still haven't made that description illegal. There is no such thing as a flushable wipe, regardless of what the packet tells you!
Just ban all wipes, solve 2 problems - cut down on the amount of plastic entering the sea and drastically reduce drain blockages. Or make the manufacturers liable for the damage they are doing, Johnstone and Johnstone know the damage their products are creating....
Imagine the conversation when you got home if you had drop that camera in the pit! Darling could you take time and clean up my camera? Are you kidding? You might want to take a flying leap. LOL that was another great video keep up the good work. Much respect
Anyone else need to turn on the subtitles? lol! They're actually pretty funny as it tries to interpret the sounds. At one point it said 'applause' and other it said 'music'. Not the kind of music I listen to lol!
The gurgling manhole. Sounds like a horror movie to me😅 Just curious if you have considered a remote for the jetter or maybe a reel with a tap? It just looks like such a chore for you to walk to the car each time you have to turn the pressure off. But good job as always 🙂
The UK has combined sewer and downspout drainage? If so, that's very different than most places in the US. Even just having this sort of a manhole access is much different than the US. Really interesting to see differences
Not all houses have combined surface water and sewers, where I live rainwater (down pipes) goes into soakaways special permission has to be obtained to be allowed to join rainwater into sewer system and this is hard to get
Why do you guys not use the reel with the open/close valve? It seems crazy to keep going back and forth to the van to turn the pressure on or off. Love the vids and the tripod shots are great.
We do have another reel but again comes down to simplicity. Keep it simple stupid it's a bit more work walking to the van and back but adding additional quick release reels is just another point of failure.
Thought the hose was never going to end... could say how far in the hose is as can't really tell from watching. Fun fun fun just glad drain not wearing white trunks...🤪🏴 Roo
Does your jetter put a lot of air into the line as well as water? lots more bubbles that I've seen on other drain jetting videos so I was just curious.
With all that gurgling, something tells me the pipe has a hump in it along its length. Have just subscribed and appreciate all the out-of-site work that goes on keeping us all happy. Have to say, though, I like the way you explain what you are doing, but giving us an idea of depth down the pipe would be better, and it gives you more time to gab to fill in the video. What camera and sound recording do you use?
WOW an open hole for sewer in front yard. Guess we have closed systems until street. Or mine to septic tank and only maybe water at Leach exit if alot of rain
what are you talking about? It's an inspection chamber, fitted with an airtight lid. They are required at each junction or change of direction. They tend to be smaller and preformed from plastic now rather than brick built. Remember these likely predate modern jetting systems by a century or two- when you relied upon simple wooden rods to clear blockages you needed frequent access points and relatively straight runs of pipe between them!
@@spencerwilton5831 Might be a UK thing. Here in the states inspection chambers like that only really exist on street mains and some very large commercial installations. Residential connections are closed pipe all the way to the street (or septic tank) with cleanout ports at certain junctions.
Can't imagine the amount of wipes the trash racks at the sewage plants have to deal with ! Between the cooking oil / grease and wipes the fat burgs are only growing bigger each year and more time and money to shift them
Just a thought, the large nozzle you use, it looks like the water jets face backward, wouldn't it be more efficient to have one with water jets facing forward and back? 👍
I enjoy watching your videos however, I don't understand why you pour sanitizer in the sewer? I have always seen other guys use sanitizer to clean the area around the trap and their tools.
Tripod view was great 👍. Out of curiosity how often do you have to change your long blue gloves??? Just a curious question as to why I need to know ??? 🤔
Great video mate. I'm subscribed don't know if it will work with the set up you have being in a van but maybe try a root cutter attachment for the hose had one on the set up where I worked doing this job but we were using a jetting lorry
Another porridge of f***ing wetwipes. Surprised though, that you didn’t scoop them up, as they are a risk of new blockages down the line. But maybe they were too mixed up with all the shit for it to be practical. Great cleaning. 👍🏼😊

Yes! Tripod was a great idea!
Yes tripod 100% better. Great job
Of course there is a difference ..A pretty big one, actually👍
Tripod view works good in most situations I think but I like the views into the manholes too, thos video had the perfect mix!
I am subscribed and also yes it’s not a bad vid quality 2
I’m starting a drainage channel and love watching your videos pal
Got the same jetter as you as well 👍🏽
I don't know what you charge but it's clearly not enough... massive respect for doing this job.
Why is that thing bubbling and gurgling like the Bog of Eternal Stench? Crazy! Love these videos!!
Thank you so much for this video I’m on a diet trying to lose weight and all I have to do is watch this video and I’m no longer hungry.
With your help, I just cleared my blocked manhole! It worked but oh the smell. You are brave lads cheers. Stan in Leyland.
The definition of essential worker. Unbelievable. 🇨🇦💗

Good lord. I heard a Scouser saying that he wasn't perfect today. Wonders will never cease. Great work and thanks for the content :-)
Thanks for watching!
The bubbling sound is awesome - can't imagine the smell.
I'm impressed by how organized your van is compared to some of the other's I've seen.
Feces doesn't care if you're organized
I'm still stunned at someone having raw sewage that accessible to their living area. Edited to add: I hope he's wearing full PPE!
THANK YOU for using the tripod. And your head cam movement was much less than previous times. I enjoyed this video much better. Stubborn wipes blockage, but you got it done.

You're welcome!
That sure is a stubborn drain! Great job! Tripod was great idea!
Maybe a content idea guys, I think you guys should do a series on “ what it’s like doing this job for the first time?” Can’t be easy having to go through this at the beginning!
I agree. And how to get into drain jetting.
We are actually taking someone new on soon. It may not be a bad idea, if you think it is informative and helpful we can definitely try it!
@@TheDrainUnblockers yeah definitely. It's something I've certainly not seen other channels doing.
@@TheDrainUnblockers that sounds fun!
That was hard to come by huh?, wild and rebellious traffic jam seemed to protest bubbling 🤣 Good job Andy!!!!.

I flinched away from my screen when that started bubbling! Gross 🤮 great video!
Another great video. Very impressed with how your van is do well organized. I work that way as well. Keeps the frustration level down.
Good tripod video as well.
Keep up the good work
Keep up the amazing work you do Delmar USA 🇺🇸
The bubbling reminded me of the bog of eternal stench (or whatever its called) in the movie The Labyrinth
My exact thoughts lol, I made a mental note to show it to my son. (Labyrinth, not the the shit clog videos.)
or someone who was drowning in manure
I just said the exact same thing to my partner. :D
You had it exactly right. Just make sure to ask for permission to pass from Sir Didymus.
That was a nice tough one! Good job mate!
Superb camera work! Great unblock job well done 👍

Was wondering why you didn't fish out the wet wipes? Others seem to so just wondering if it makes a difference. Love the tripod by the way. X
You can fish them out to a point but it really is quite hard to in practice. Sometimes it is just best to push out to the main drain, were they enter a pipe with a much larger diameter.
That manhole bubbling away looks and sounded like my vegatable soup that I had on the Hob last week.... Yummy !
Haha, you definitely had me ducking and diving the spray! 🤣 Nicely done, sir! 👍
Thanks 👍
I wonder what every plumber would do if they ran into the people who are responsible for manufacturing, advertising and selling those "flushable" wipes lol
The worker hate them but the bosses love them(more money) *wink*

Great view with the tripod. Thought you had installed smelly vision too until I realised my dog who was sat next to me had just farted 🤣🤣🤣
Exact same thing happened to me yesterday when watching @rodsaway right as he lifted the manhole cover, talk about a 4d experience 😂😂😂💩💩💩😂😂😂
Some corn in there for Ratty !!!
GOOD ONE MATE
If one chews the sweet corn then it doesnt appear out the ass like that sir.
I hate it when people waste food
The hole was percolating. Yes I like the new tri-pod.
What is the part number of the spade , seems like a very good tool for planting potatoes !!!!

Why do people keep putting wet wipes down the bog?!!!
Put them in the bin, no matter where they've cleaned!
I don't know why it is so satisfying to watch poo getting cleaned out of drains.
Same..
Tripod a great idea some additional lighting would be good too in case the daylight is blocked in the way of manhole
El tío bacteria lo hizo otra vez!

Can we all appreciate the fact that the camera lens did not get splashed at all after all that gurgling?!
It must have been hard building them man holes back then most new House's use plastic one's nowadays.
Good view with the tripod.
Does your jetter put a lot of air into the line as well as water? lots more bubbles that I've seen on other drain jetting videos so I was just curious.

Great, thank you! And we use a GoPro Hero 8
Good Wednesday evening to you sir from wellington Somerset
Good evening to you too from liverpool Merseyside
I thought at minute 04:20 when you said "..goes..." : "Impossible, there are still 20 minutes left of video footage"
We were sadly mistaken 😅
Lot of wipes in there? And trapped air?
Man you sure do go through alot of shit to fix these drains lol glad you got the stomach for it
Almost 100k! 🤗⏱🍻
That attempt at seeing a blockage on the camera was making me feel seasick 😂
LOL I see a lot of corn in there, not only does it not digest, apparently it doesn't even break down in the environment... sheesh!😂

Which camara you are using ?
Pouring buckets of water in the drain box and he says, 'Solid'. Nice ...
I don't know if it just me but the water you dump in looks a little green to me. The tripod made for a good steadt viewing experience.
We add a bit of pine disinfectant which gave it the tinge! Thanks for the tripod comment
You were right about the interceptor being covered over . Can you tell where it is from the camera ? Length of the cable that's gone In ?
Not sure why it was a suggested video but very interesting shit Lol!
Good job 👍
Do you ever think to yourself “disgusting” or any other variations of that thought when you open blocked manholes?
Just a thought, the large nozzle you use, it looks like the water jets face backward, wouldn't it be more efficient to have one with water jets facing forward and back? 👍
There’s a small forward jet to pierce through and several behind to push it through!
you had me at gurgling manhole
I enjoy watching your videos however, I don't understand why you pour sanitizer in the sewer? I have always seen other guys use sanitizer to clean the area around the trap and their tools.
Well done for using gloves other people don't wear glovess
Tripod view was great 👍. Out of curiosity how often do you have to change your long blue gloves??? Just a curious question as to why I need to know ??? 🤔
The big blue gloves are reusable, they typically last a few months between replacing
@@TheDrainUnblockers Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. We do have a root cutting nozzle.
And the sub!
Spoke too soon, nice view
Was there no other access point downstream? Maybe could jet from the other direction?
No other access point unfortunately
I'm subscribed you guys are great! Keep up the good work! 👍👌💩🤮
these vids should be in 3D!
With added optional smellivision!
Who pays for your service: the home owner or the city?
The homeowner. Per the description, "...blockage caused by our client using wipes."
6:44 floating bit of sweet corn 👍
That’s for ratty
"Perfecto" buen trabajo
So glad i can smell that.
Anyone found using wipes should have a hefty fine.... Pure thick putting them down the system
😠 - did you tell the customer “don’t flush wipes down the toilet”
Definitely
Another porridge of f***ing wetwipes. Surprised though, that you didn’t scoop them up, as they are a risk of new blockages down the line.
But maybe they were too mixed up with all the shit for it to be practical.
Great cleaning. 👍🏼😊
I was thinking the same thing..WET WIPES!!!!!!
Wipes! It's always flamin' wipes!!!
It looks like one end, the outlet end of the manhole has subsided quite a bit.
Where is this located?
tile glue mixer on a cordless drill would make some nice porridge
i wonder if its the most stubborn 1?
The gurgling sounds were horrible! Also maybe you should wear a clear face visor? That's a lot of bacteria bubbling about!
Looks like a fun job are you in the Uk?
Yes!
@@TheDrainUnblockers very good 👍
