i started doing “one good thing everyday” for each month and i just write a positive sentence each day about the day and it’s been so nice to just reflect on the good! surprisingly, it’s made such a difference in my mindset each day!

That's kinda what I'm doing too! I don't have weekly spreads for planning atm because I'm only working atm and dont start school until the spring semester, but I try to write a few sentences about my day or use it as a brain dump. It's like a mini diary lol

same here! i reserve a line at the bottom of each day and write down things i am grateful for that day :) I noticed a big difference in my mood when i didn't do it vs when i did and have stuck to it since
I do this too, started doing it with my therapist and it really helped on keeping a positive mindset :)

Your bullet journal flips are awesome. They're artistic and interesting, and it's refreshing that you don't go into a philosophical monologue about your "procedure," you just SHOW the pages! And I think most people who watch are looking for ideas as to how to make THEIR pages look interesting, as well. You give useful tips about how to get the most from a page layout, but you change it up and make it FUN and (while respecting others' opinions) I love when there's an element of fun in the planning! TFS :)
Watching this flip through is like watching a flip through of my bullet journal cuz I recreate every single spread you do 😜🤪

Favorite theme: October and February.
First of all- I always wanted to have a Bullet Journal and I searched up ideas and I stumbled upon your channel! And when I saw the pages- WOW. Did you draw EVERYTHING by yourself? Man all I can draw is a stick figure 😂

One of my fave spreads to do is a “not so awesome” spread. Similar to a mood tracker, it forces me to think about the best parts of my day. I split the page in the middle, and I write something awesome on the awesome side, and the not so awesome thing on the “not so” side.

I've struggled with keeping up with bullet journaling and I found a better weekly layout this summer which really works for me. I use the notebook so the page is horizontal and make a simple to do list and then below the list I would make a timeline of when I wanted to accomplish things. The spreads were always really full and I found that it provided an easy way to incorporate the monthly theme just by outlining the spread with a different color or washi tape. I love the more complex, doodle-filled spreads but I've found that I dont have the time or motivation to keep up with them. I think this year I'm actually going to switch over from a bullet journal to a traveller's notebook but I thought this might help someone or someone might want to try it out.
February was my favorite I just love how the light pink turned out in the spreads and the cherry blossoms 🌸

The butterfly theme was my favorite. I'm not a huge butterfly fan lol but it looked very nice. And I loved how you incorporated it throughout the entire month's layouts.

what i do for weekly spreeds.... mainly cause im a student...but each of my classes gets its own box each week where i write all of the things to do during the week cause a lot of my professors assign work months in advance. its really helpful to also just focus on one class rather than get overwhelmed with like a lot of classes. it can also be great for things other than classes...maybe like a box for work, house, life, etc. ive been watching your videos forever and starting my own bullet journal after you inspiring me has helped me so much throughout these past few years and i dont think i would be where i am without it. ily!!!

one of my favorite spreads: so sometimes i get really busy and i don't have time to draw, so what i do in my bullet journal is make a calendar that is a grid for just that month. in each space i draw something that made me smile, or just something significant that happened that day. i got this idea from Pear Fleur, so go check it out on her channel. i've found that this actually makes a big impact on my mental health when i haven't drawn anything in awhile, and it's good just to relfect on your day.
All of theme were so creative and beautiful and unique in their own way but May and December were so delicated and prettyyy 🦋 I loved them they just made me go WOW 💕
one of the things i added in my bujo was a "highlight of the day" page! it helped me sit down at the end of everyday and be grateful for little things that made me happy or made my day :)
It is so interesting to watch your videos and your growth in the last 3 years that you have been bullet journaling because I started at the same time.
When I bought my first bullet journal (it was a regural notebook) you were the first youtuber I was watching to get inspiration. Both of us started it without really knowing what are we getting ourselves into and how it would work out.
But it's wonderful to see how far you have progressed and to compare it with my own growth 💓

My fav theme that you have done for 2019 is the moon phases theme...😄I started loving white and black spreads after getting to know ur theme😊..plus it was the time when I was pretty overwhelmed about kpop😑..so it's pretty memorable for me for some reason..😆😆
I personally love making a monthly memories spread in my bullet journal. It’s basically just a Monthly spread where whenever you have a fun thing you did you write to down! In the summer it was even more fun because I wrote a memory for every single day, once school started I just write ones when I do something fun. It’s always super fun to look back on and it’s my favorite spread from my bullet journal.

I just started my bujo and now I see all the BTS and I'm like: Definitely will be my nr.1 bujo channel. Then I saw all the drawings and my jaw dropped and it's a really beautiful journal and I hope to be able to create something I can be proud of as well.

My favorite theme was the bubble tea because I love pastel colors.
I did a gratitude log. I just wrote down one thing I was grateful for each day and I found that it really helped my mindset and it was refreshing to focus on the good!

For the monthly layout you can do a circular layout (similar to the weekly spread). Make a circle in the middle and divide it into 29/30/31 boxes (not exactly boxes but yeah). You can use the boxes as a mood tracker and for writing down the days, and when you have an event you can draw a line and write it down there. If you don't have a lot of events it works pretty well (at least for me). :)

My favorite spread is May! It’s my birthday month but I also really like butterflies. Plus, my favorite color is blue. So all good things rolled together in one month! 😊🎊

i agree! month at a glance spreads are always the hardest to make!! i’m never satisfied with the result!
February! As someone who is not a very talented artist I always find the loose, flowy, floral themes to be the most satisfying. They are much more forgiving than the more structured doodles. That being said I do like to challenge myself with more difficult themes and am finding that by the end of each month my doodling has improved!
October was one of my all time favorite themes from 2019 😍🌙 I loved the lunar theme and the cool black paper.

It’s so hard to pick a favorite theme but February, October, and December are my favorites. I think for 2020 I’m going to keep all of my themes to 1 accent color and include daily gratitude. Focusing on something I’m grateful for helps to re center my thinking and stop me from being negative all of the time

This month I made a spread that called one word a day and basically every day you choose word and write it down and at the end of the month you could see what were your thoughts in that month.

For a new monthly layout, it might not be ideal but I’ve seen some where they do like a timeline - so literally draw a line across the page (and number them) then draw a line off each day to write what’s happening that day. That way you have the entire page in theory for one day, but also maximise the space around it. Loving your videos ❤️ happy new year!

hey! just something to keep in mind! you can use they instead of his/her! it’s a lot less letters and it includes any gender non-conforming little doodles
Something that’s helped me with bullet journaling. Is making a habit tracker and sleeping graph. And marking down how much water I drink then rewarding myself for how much I drink
You inspired me to start a bullet journal in 2020! I did one for December this month too, with colored pencils and a random notebook, but I asked for brush pens and a dotted journal for Christmas!
Edit: I remember watching the September stationary one and thinking “Wow I can’t believe it’s September already” and now it’s almost 2020 😱
