When I lived in Prague, Czech Republic for a year in 2018, I got to see Czech baseball for the first time and it was one of the best things about spending time in the Czech Republic. I cheer for the Korean team more, but I hope the Czech players do well too. Pitcher JAN NOVAK, who often played catch with me during my stay in Prague. Best wishes for his world debut.

My son plays in Technika Brno and one of his coaches is Matěj Menšík who will play in wbc. It is amazing to see that from such small country you can make such great result, all these guys inspire all small players to be better, they show the way, and this is spirit of baseball game, thx guys and crossing fingers in Tokio 😀

I've been lucky enough to visit Prague on three different occasions, and it's easily one of my favorite places i've been to. Beautiful country with a rich history and culture. Our country have just some players in professional baseball too, but we have MLB and NPB players in activity, and they are not played in qualifiers in WBC, because they career is more important, and this comprehensible.

@@ericlego321 Yes they did!!! and honestly, they hung in there against a team of pros in South Korea. They've already proved themselves in my eyes. Sadly, Ercoli and Zyma struggled against SK. Dubovy didn't play and neither did Schneider. But Cervenka had a good hit against South Korean pitching

to be fair, every single one of these guys speaks English super well. i doubt you could find 15 people off the street in the U.S. who can speak Czech as well as these guys can communicate in English

They did what we Italians did not have the balls to do. It's hard to root for my country when most of the lineup comes from New Jersey.
