Hopefully you see this but when playing as Atreus use your triangle move. He shoots an arrow that pulls him in close and when he hits he puts a massive amount of status (sonic/sigil) on your target. I’d use sonic bc once the status is full each hit sends shockwaves that damage surrounding enemies. Makes life easier just wanna help
Fun fact. The reason Thors cut never really heals is because Kratos' axe was infused with the serpents' venom in the first game. The venom was known to kill gods.
32:27 In Norse mythology you don't have to be worthy to lift mjølnir. It's just extremely heavy and when thrown can't be stopped until it reaches its target. (Which makes it crazy that Kratos caught it in the first fight)

The context to Loki's reading abilities is actually one of his god powers. Tis why he can talk to animals, Jormungandr, most mystical beasts and also why he heard the voices from the Light well in alfheim before even dipping into it like Kratos
In context of the entire Norse lore and what he can do in game Loki is indeed a trickster deity with powers of shapeshifting, Voice of all things and pretty soon the mfker is gonna be able to use all kinds of magic and despite the trouble mythological loki tends to get into he is VERY smart
59:49 the first time you hit him with the shield strike, it completed his stun bar. Bosses that can't be grabbed just lose a big chunk of health when you build up stun.
Odin's letting Atreus meet everyone who hates him FIRST so that he looks like a savior when he shows up. Plus, it let's Atreus know that if he gets on Odin's bad side the people who hate him will be all over him.
polar, for a better way to understand the norns, they each represent something, past present and future, and they speak from different perspectives, third person, first person, etc... instead of thinking of fate, I think of it like writing a book, that's a better representation for them
48:05 in some of the shrines, and in mythlogy, in a fight against thor Jormungandr is thrown to the past, probably to many years before kratos arrive to midgard
The guardian shield gives you invincibility frames while doing counter attack. Also I forgot to mention it last time but when your rage meter is visibly gone you can do one more move. For example: L2 (throw a rock and deal big pp damage) but it's easier to do when the meter is almost gone Some tips for the Phantom fights: When it's core is glowing (while and after some attacks) you can throw your weapon to stun it You can lock on to the springs to let Freya/Atreus destroy them with arrows Filling up the super sonic sound (?) meter will also stun the Phantom

some people think that jormungandr's thing is a time paradox because he was the one who mentioned ironwood, which would lead to atreus getting there, meeting angrboda and his grandmother, and finding the snakes where he puts his soul, which raises doubt as to how atreus got there in the first place without jormungandr's help, because there had to have been a first time before jormungandr told him, and that first time could have been when atreus saw groa's shrine since ironwood is also mentioned there.
3:29 emotions run high when you’re in adolescence and growing into a young adult, so some decisions made out of anger or sadness have no logic behind them. This is natural at this age and should be responded to with kindness and understanding. Using an iron fist during times like this only serves to distance the parent from the child and leaves the child feeling even more alone and confused. The fact that they’re gods in a magic world definitely makes this situation a bit more… volatile & dramatic. But that doesn’t change the fact that there is a right way and a wrong way to handle the situation, and kindness and understanding is the right way. You don’t drag them out of the hole, yelling the whole time. You guide them out of it, explaining why they got there to begin with and how to avoid it.
35:56. He didn't lost his eye due to that rift. Mirmir even said it in God of war 2018, that he fooled Odin by letting him think, that he has to eat some magic mushrooms to gain more knowledge and when Odin was high he thought by cutting his eyes out he would gain more knowledge, but was stopped before he could cut his second eye😂. That's why you also find Mimir with only one eye at the beginning, as a act of revenge
48:00 In the previous game, when you read a mural, Mimir comments on how it was prophesied that when thor and the serpent fight, their fight will be so big, that they will end up destroying a branch of the world tree and that will send the serpent to the past, to a time were itselft hastnt been born yet
The whole worthy thing was created by marvel, but in norse mythology Thors hammer is just really, really heavy so really only Thor can lift it because hes like that. So Thruds swords are probably just super heavy
Tip: when you complete the creatures of habit if you haven’t already completed it go back to Freyrs camp then you should get the quest scent of survival then follow the favor then you should know about know that you are finding Berger and going to fight a dragon, once killed it will drop some components to make the dragon armor set (you only get enough for one piece) then make the dragon breastplate then you basically get a very good armor too, the effect of the armor is what makes it good. So basically what it does every time you parry or block you get a very good buff in strength and defense (stacks three times for 6 seconds) then boom you have a good armor set
If you really want to know how Odin knows about Atreaus's location and Freya being at the house. I recommend watching Cooking With Kratos theory videos after playing the story of this game. And being worthy is a Marvel thing not Norse Mythology. I recommend watching Untangling God of War, the video is about how Santa Monica Studios rewrote the original Norse Mythology in the 2018 game. Modi was a pedo, in 2018 Modi asked Magni " I get the kid, right? " Magni " What is the matter with you? " That's why Thrud and Thor speak about Modi like that. In 2018 Mimir says Thor hits the world serpent with the hammer so hard that it shakes the world tree and sends Jormy back in time before his birth. Also, in Spartan Rage Press L2 for Kratos to pull a boulder 🪨 out of the ground to throw at enemies.
I never saw Modi as a pedo. I thought the reason he said ”You’re going to be my new brother” to Atreus was because he wanted someone smaller to bully, like how Magni and Thor bullied him. But Modi is a sick man so I won’t be surprised if he was 😭🙏🏿.
When fighting the phantoms, it's helpful to throw your axe when they're glowing, rather than trying to close in the distance to hit it, so that you can stun in and get a whole bunch of free hits.

But since they’re story bosses, they won’t be as hard as the Valkyries in the last game. Their queen on the other hand, is optional and fights like Sigrun. 32:32 The worthiness thing is something Marvel made up. In the mythology, Thor’s hammer is just really heavy. Thrud's weapons here are similar. 37:52 The trials are in the game. But they’re easier in this game. 47:59 Mimir explained it in the first game. Jormungandr is in a time loop. Thor beat him at Ragnarok. The fight disturbed the World Tree so much that it sent Jormungandr back in time. 1:00 The hateful is just one woman. She’s so stubborn she refuses to die. So you have to kill her six times. You missed a fight in Svartalfheim in the mine. And another will unlock in Vanaheim later.
If you don't already know, I recommend doing the rock throw with the other trigger at the end of Spartan rage, instead of the ground pound. You'll get more bang for your buck.
On Atreus levels i noticed your fights are slightly more difficult cuz you never use Triangle attack, try it. Also the reason why in attempt against hateful you did good damage with runic attack cuz you used runic arrows (purple) which increases elemental damage (fire & ice). The green arrows are great to inflict sonic & stun effects so unless you arent using stun build & playing with axe & blade use purple for now.
You can fight gna after the main story in muspelheim. She is in this thing called a remnant of Asgard. Both her and the berserker king are hard but personally I did the berserker king first, then used the berserker Armor on Gna
Heimdall: God of foresight, The Watchman of the Aesir. Able to predict things anywhere at anytime before it happens. He intends on killing Atreus in Asgard but you won’t let that happen. Maybe you should talk to the Huldra Brothers and see what they can do to help (Also do you have any questions for me)
Yo, since there ain't too many comments here yet, maybe you'll catch this one. Would you play Devil May Cry 5 on the channel? I think it'd be sick to watch. Big shoutout from Brazil.
Odin knows freya joined the party because there are ravens in vanaheim when you did her quest And about the mask, google translate what it says “opsidiani spítha”
47:38 so he put the giants soul into the snake(which technically made it a giant) and then he grew and got to be tht big, then he got sent a unknown time but im guessing a good time bfor the time tht the first game took place but obviously he aged a bit (why there isnt two by the time rag hits, idk) maybe he dies during fimbelwinter, snake in the cold type shit
Polar would you ever consider playing the original god of war games? like 1, 2 and 3? those games are actually really hard. i believe you even have to beat the game once to unlock the hardest difficulty. i hope you do! especially the third game. of course you gotta finish this one and the DLC first

Heimdall: God of foresight, The Watchman of the Aesir. Able to predict things anywhere at anytime before it happens. He intends on killing Atreus in Asgard but you won’t let that happen. Maybe you should talk to the Huldra Brothers and see what they can do to help
(Also do you have any questions for me)
Heimdall has the gift of foresight, Why his eyes have that bifrost effect.
Gna has those eyes too. It seems everyone who has it is a die hard Odin meat rider
"Good read a book! 💢"
Týr: "😔😔😔"
In the first game it is said thor knocked jormungandr back in time, even before his own birth
46:43 i think bro forgot that’s a child🙏🏾😭
Yo, since there ain't too many comments here yet, maybe you'll catch this one. Would you play Devil May Cry 5 on the channel? I think it'd be sick to watch. Big shoutout from Brazil.
Odin knows freya joined the party because there are ravens in vanaheim when you did her quest
And about the mask, google translate what it says “opsidiani spítha”
47:38 so he put the giants soul into the snake(which technically made it a giant) and then he grew and got to be tht big, then he got sent a unknown time but im guessing a good time bfor the time tht the first game took place but obviously he aged a bit (why there isnt two by the time rag hits, idk) maybe he dies during fimbelwinter, snake in the cold type shit
Bruh the quality is fine
By defeating all the berserkers you can get flawless berserker armour which is very good. You should get that before finishing
27:37 Muspelheim after the main story is over
You should rearrange this video to go before the last video in the playlist so anyone binging doesn’t lose the order.
27:42 Musphulheim on the right side of volcano (only appears after ragnorok
I can’t remember if you have to unlock the ability but I remember really liking the close combat attack with the blades by holding L1
Why does Odin kind of look like my grandpa
Bro crashes out on ever npc that looks at him💀
aye i saw that marvel rivals on the home screen. who do you main👀
It's more about you playing then what it look like lol I done beat it already
You need to use L1 + triangle when it fills up its an insane damage boost
You can't fight Valkyrie queen Gná until after the main story... Good luck and maybe fight the berserkers first
bro the quality isn't that bad and i like it because it is a anime flashback episode and i really like the face cam
Kratos walked thru a wall one time.. in a comic or smth. Also who wouldn't run off... dyk what he bouta do with that arrow? Lmao.
Polar oiled up 🙏
I already know he's gonna hate Heimdall lmaoo. And Odin is Heimdall's father btw bro.
🔥👌 I look forward to your next video every time you post 1. Thx for the amazing content
No つづく at the end?
Polar would you ever consider playing the original god of war games? like 1, 2 and 3? those games are actually really hard. i believe you even have to beat the game once to unlock the hardest difficulty. i hope you do! especially the third game. of course you gotta finish this one and the DLC first
Just busted one out dattebayo😭✌🏿
Gants have time powers it’s how they see the past present and future in Norse Mythology Jormangander is Loki and Angrabodas child
U should really use the L1 triangle especially with the blades the dmg output is crazy
the climbing technique is kind of crazy, but honestly look online at some of the really crazy climbs people do, as some of them are inhuman.
17:20 you DO NOT want that fight trust me
