As regards of the Mazda 3, I know that is 1.6 petrol engine 105hp a very reliable, just look for the restyling models from 2006 till 2009, because of the chassis rust. The models produced in 2004-5 had a problems with the rust. 2.0 petrol engine with 150hp had a problems with the head, i don’t know about the restyling model with 6 gears, but 150hp 5 speed had a problems with the engine.

Got gifted a 2007 mazda 3 2.3, mt… fuel pump was bad, suspension was shot, water leaked into the car and everything, ended up fixing it and I love my car soooo much, just needs a coat of paint and an air filter now, 500 bucks deep into the project and I can’t be more grateful for it to be my first car.

The Mazda 2.0 with a manual is a beast. Besides a few cheap fixes like side motor mounts and such nothing is gonna break. The only ONE real complaint is rust. I bought my car 3 years old and it had started already pretty bad. I didn’t realize when I bought it ; it had been fixed already which is insane

Now I’m getting headers. Tbh it doesn’t sound bad even with the exhaust. It’s not fast but doesn’t sound like a total ricer haha. Maybe after I put the headers on doe. Gonna put the weapon r intake manifold in too. Will have to tune it after dat. Not turboing it right now don’t have the kind of money just wanna make it nice first. Slowly but surely project car.

oh mate trust me they can take a thrashing, i've held a 2.3 at redlimit for a good 5 second burnout with no worries, the 2.3 is a very great motor. Just do your oilchanges!
@@martinzukowski8602 Yea bro you should be all good, I would make sure the timing chain had been done in the last 50,000ks before you push it too hard, but other than that these motors are near bulletproof! Your transmission is likely to die far before your engine will tho. Make sure you do the fluid and filter if its an auto transmission, or just replace the fluid if its manual, and then you can thrash it to your hearts content. The transmissions are not as reliable as the motors they are paired with so they will need extra care for a car with higher ks like yours.

Looks like the TPMS light, just a tire pressure sensor problem. And the exhaust does sound good, has just enough rumble yet still quiet enough to hear the power being made.
