Ian Flynn remembered to put focus on her at the last minute of his Archie Pre-Gen run. Which is a shame, cause Knuckles’ mom is one of Ken Penders’ best characters. Which reminds me how Wade’s mom is the best character of the Knuckles’ show behind Knuckles & Wade.
This is the real reason Flynn decided to reboot (because I'm pretty sure Sega didn't care as long as he no longer uses characters and elements established before). He realized how unintentionally depressing Archie would become with every Archie originals fridged off especially after intentionally depressing Mecha Sally arc.
@ Yeah, I will admit too that the Mecha Sally arc was depressing as well. Bunnie losing her robot powers and getting legionized, Antoine almost got killed, Naugus replacing Elias as king. Sometimes looking at those moments kinda frustrated me.

I still think about the fucking romance arc that was in between the whole N4z1 reference and Knuckles Turns Green saga in the comics and it is unironically one of the best parts of the Archie comic run. Knuckles gets to be a teenager for once and not have the Guardian duty be hung over his head. I hope ya briefly mention it eventually
Windmocker's outfit seems oddly familiar. It's sad that Lara-Le and Kneecaps never got a happy ending. They really deserved better, as do most of the characters that never saw the light of day again.😞
Ken Penders lawsuit came at the worst time because Pre-SGW Archie was forced to end at the heroes darkest hour and narrative peak of the arc. Post-SGW Archie at the very least ended at the conclusion of it's arc (if only Sega reprinted Sonic Megadrive under IDW and let Flynn write Part 3 because it's cast was entirely SegaSonic only, but sadly I'll see S4E3 earlier than that).
There were other kids born before you that told the comic writers they wanted representation of their broken home to help cope with their troubled life.
Oh yeah well where was the representation for kids born with unusually large thumbs like me huh? I tried writing to these a-holes about it and I even had a character planned out for them I called him Thumber the Tamandua and he was going to be Knuckle's first and oldest friend! When I mailed them the idea, they mailed back to me saying that they couldn't use him because the story they had planned was going to be and I quote "too real for a children's comic" that and they didn't know what a tamandua was, didn't bother to look it up and thought that it was an imaginary creature that I made up!
My point is that the choice to cast Paul Reubens as Fife in Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas will forever be the best decision made by Michael Eisner!
Kneecaps is still my favorite comic echidna, purely bc his name is a big "screw you" to Penders and his annoying choice of naming every male echidna after philosophers

...Lara-Le was created a year before Sonic Adventure was even released in *_Japan,_* let alone America. Plus, Penders didn't give a damn about the games unless Sega told him to adapt them _(and was rightfully angry when they refused to give him any information about said games)._ There's absolutely _no_ way he made Lara-Le for the reason you're claiming he did. If you're gonna ridicule Penders, do it about things he actually did. You don't need to make stuff up about him to make him look ridiculous - he'll do that for you. :P

I'm the minority who glad this reboot happens, Kens weird writing and his obsession with making too many echidna characters ruin the importance of why Knuckles is the last guardian. Plus I don't like Knuckles.. *Ugh😒...Lover* Julie-su and discover she is Knuckles cousin is so gross. Hope she never returns or just recon her from not being a echidna change her into a different species. This Archie comic (Mostly Ken's) writing weird me out from continuing reading it as a kid and today it's didn't change. And I was right being weird out after hearing Ken want to put in the comic of Sally losing her virginity to that creeper skunk he made who's is an adult in his mid 20's and she's 16 a minor. Thank goodness their people with common sense in the archie work place disapproved of this!🤢 But it's suck other interesting characters that not echidna are gone because of Ken being a manchild. Thank goodness Sonic movie 2 fixed this mess and hopefully SEGA let Iynn get more freedom in the comic making his echidna canon better than Ken since he did amazing job with writing Shadow from sonic X Shadow generations. Also SEGA suing Ken if he butt in again when they're making any new echidna characters in the future.

What’s sad is that knuckles lost her and every other echidna he cared about before he could even reconcile with them over the Enerjak incident.
Our only respite is that she has already forgiven him as any good mother would.
