  • The Tropicana Las Vegas has been the center of attention lately, because its owner, Bally's Corporation, has (maybe?) inked a deal with the Oakland Athletics baseball team to lease them land and make room for them to build a new 33,000-seat stadium where the Trop now stands. The historic hotel/casino is scheduled to cease operations on April 2nd...so we figured we had better get over there one more time, do an overnight stay, and reminisce about what this particular Strip property means to us, then and now. We invite you to join us!
