Congratulations and greetings from Poland! I've been to the US once - in 1999 but that was the Eastern Coast. One day I hope to visit the West and Alaska. Mt. Edgecumb seems to be a great spot.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful excursion. I live very very far far away since I am from Genoa, Italy. I lived IN Alaska for three months exactly 25%years ago and I die for getting back. I am an Alaska maniac and I miss it there so much. When I go back, I would love to reach the top of the Mt. Edgecumbe. I now know it is possible. Thank you.

Mount Edgecumbe has already been conquered by my mom and her buddies. I’ve been asking her if I could go with her one day to the top but she said no.. I have a view of mount Edgecumbe from my front window. If you see a yellow house with a white fence which I doubt you’ll see it from that high up. there’s a mountain in Sitka where you can see the entire town it’s actually pretty cool. Although there are some places that aren’t very safe in which you could possibly roll down a hill and end up like pancakes 🥞 on a sunny afternoon almost happened to me once I almost peed my pants. 🤣🤣🤣
+J. H. Martin It's an awesome town! Beautiful place to visit or live in. I don't hire myself out as a guide, but there a lot of them in this town. Especially, during the summer. I don't mind showing around too if you ever come visit!
J. H. Martin Make sure to bring bear spray with you it might not work as well in most bear attacks but it gives you time to run away so that you don’t get mauled by a mamma bear. And if you see a bear cub stay away from it the parents might be around they follow their cub everywhere and attack anyone or anything that is considered a threat to their baby or themselves they are like lions only less friendly and are hungry most of the time.
We also have a place in Sitka called fortress of the bears it’s really fun and interesting to watch the bears feed and how they entertain themselves. They act like ginormous puppies... but are also brutes.
@@bethcox1283 I still plan on going sometime. I knew about the Best Fortress and it's one of the places I really want to see! As soon as this pandemic situation is resolved, I'm packing my bags!
