Awesome catches! 1 BNSF ACes are on quite literally any train we get here lol and are always paired with GEVOs and half the time are leading! (Mostly coal trains ofc) 2, we get a few coal trains a day with around 10+ engines sometimes running a goofy 2x7x2 or something like that.
Bro really said, "RARE FOOTAGE OF NS NOT DERAILING!1!1!1!1!1!"😅😅😅 and also UP #6338 is Ex Southern Pacific #272 and its good to still have flashing ditch lights😮
The train at 16:46 only had 3 of the 7 units running. The remaining 4 were offline (not running), most likely being ferried to another location to be used on other trains. Its not uncommon for BNSF to do this sort of thing, although back in the day (before PSR and greedy hedge fund groups began crippling the industy), there were instances where a high priority train (mostly intermodal Z trains) would have several locomotives as speed was the main thing and not lack of tractive effort.
I have seen many units in my days along the tracks, some more than once. It always surprises me how much the topography changes the horns echo from location to location. Also my take on Canadian locos, I love their high pitched horns. Also you can keep CSX 7009, the rebuilds are junk and smoke more than before they were rebuilt. Careful that NS might derail. Long live SP! DPU alright! It’s a little funny how nice and clean unfaded that UP ACe was compared to the GEVO’s. Power moves never killed anyone.
LIKE THIS GUY’S VIDEOS! A month ago I liked videos and got, no joke, SIX heritage and special locomotives in 24 hours. The mythical legend is true.
Let’s talk about the fact that BNSF1458 always brings a tripod and a camera with him every time he goes on a nice chill Walk
I do too tbh😂

It also has its old SP era horn, which still sounds as good when it rolled out from the shop.

At the beginning of the first horn sound on the first train sounded like a wayside horn to me anyways great video!
The lighting on that CSX unit is absolutely amazing, great video!
What do you mean when you say flashers?
flashing ditch lights
Up 1111 might be coming up to you, it's on MNPAL
What camera do you use for filming
he uses a Sony CX405 and sometimes a Sony A58
Nice video and love the lush shot at 12:38.
The amount of fallen flag rolling stock is completely mind blowing.
Shit I remember catching the NTWSUP and SUPNTW in 2020 with Burlington Northern power. Crazy how fast time moves.
The Hinckley sub peaked in 2020. We will never have power like that again
@@BNSF1458 Just like alot of railroads back in 2020.

I respect the SD70Ms more as just 4 years ago you could see them leading a Z train
Have you seen a CP Heritage units
Hey BNSF 1458 your almost at 10k subscribers only 100 more to go
Bro You have seen every railroad company lead on that line and I have not seen a CP lead on UP's main freight route to Chicago.
Cool video
Just wait until you see CPKC.
