woodturning a weed pot in 10 minutes

This is another ten minute woodturning project from the same cherry branch. These projects I'm doing are quick and easy to make. it's good practice for building your wood turning skills, and they make great impulse buys at art markets. Or give them away as gifts. The creativity of design is only limited by your imagination. I hope you enjoy the video and try making some in your shop.

Just took a class free from Tri County woodturning and my library..it took me 2 hours plus, great job of teacher, explaing each tool, showing me but letting me do work. I loved every step.

Do you need to put an insert in it to hold water?

Yes Dianne. A test tube works. On most of mine I use epoxy resin to coat the inside which works as well. Thank you for watching.
