A very nice and expensive Millennium Falcon! This kit is awesome since it is as close to the 5-foot prop version as possible! Your painting and lighting are always incredible!
@@m1a1hm i got lucky and got it just about $75 over retail on Amazon on an early Black Friday deal, with free shipping! Of course mods are gonna probably double the cost in the end. 😬
Nicely done. I'll be starting my BANDAI modelling/painting journey some time next year. A 'things you definitely need' basics for this sort of painting, would be greatly appreciated by many.
Thank you for the tutorial/showcase model vlogs. It's quite inspirational watching these. Do you like the DeAgostini or the Bandai falcon better? Would you recommend one over the other?
They're both beautiful kits. Bandai is certainly cheaper. I don't even think the DeAgostini is available anymore. I love my DeAgo, but you definitely need the room to display. Having the interior with the DeAgo is also nice.
@@modelsbychris Thanks! I'm going to search for a Bandai falcon and and give it a go then! Your videos provide an excellent building guide. I hope I can get it remotely close to your build quality
EXCELLENT! You did a fantastic job! My only issue is the weathering, there are streaks going top to bottom all the way around... but if it flew threw atmospheres of planets, the streaks would be blown from front to back, like in the slip-stream, but I'm just being nit-picking... the model looks GREAT~!
Matches the ILM models though. Even the streaks from the rear should be straight back and not angled if it were to be realistic. But most weathering is from being grounded, I personally think. It would run down from center to outer because of the shape. No air in space, so no weathering would technically happen.
@@modelsbychris True about it being "grounded" or "in space" But I also said "...if it flew threw atmospheres of planets, " which it did quite often. Anyway, your models still looks great - I love it!

Superb looking Falcon Chris.
Been watching your various Falcon videos for a couple years now as the gold standard of MF builds. Thanks for sharing!

Outstanding work!!! I'm working on the FineMolds 1/72 Falcon right now i hope it comes out half as good as yours did.
Just started my Bandai kit...same sentiments!
@@jimjablonski4988 Cool i wish i could get the Bandia kit but what there asking for the kit is a bit out of my reach.

Just Amazing!
I wish I could afford to replace my stolen Millennium Falcon items. Very nice work!
That sucks. Totally know what that's like, if you caught my stolen video.
@@modelsbychris Indeed. I'd just like to have SOME representation of the Falcon back in my collection before I die. Sheesh.
"I've been looking forward to this"
Great job. C-3PO and R2-D2 look wright at home
