david cronenberg created a master piece, just watched this again, and some scenes of seth lashing out randomly at geena davis is funny lol coz jeff is a funny guy in real life..and mel brooks helped produce this movie
thank you so much DVDguy this is such precious footage. I have a love-hate relationship, as I think anyone interested in this film, with the Fly. I know it's a great film, but it's just too disturbing to watch. And Cronnenberg's just being cynical when he calls it a "dark comedy", that's just disgusting really implying that.
Love listening Cronenberg in interviews. Brilliant filmmaker. This interviewer seems like a bit of a schmuck to me though with his passive aggressive knocks at the content of the film and the genre itself. "I only saw half of the film because the rest of it I was looking away WITH THE REST OF THE AUDIENCE." 🙄 David handled it like a champ though.
