Just for your info. Mochi in japan, rice cake in korea, and they have the different methods to be made. The thing she eats from 1:45(halfmoon-shaped) is not mochi, but it is rice cake which is a traditional one in korea. In japan, we have a variety of mochies with various shapes. But no halfmoon-shaped mochi with that texture. I understand in many countries, rice cakes are sold as mochies and most of people cannot distinguish them

I had mochi before. At first I did not like it. It was hami melon mochi. But after awhile it was starting to taste okay. It kinda tasted like honey doo melon. There was this brown clearish feeling inside and some white stuff wrapped around it.
