This season was amazing! It was entertaining from start to finish and I am happy with the 4 finalists. I am happy Laurie won and James did amazing. If I could, I would give him a trophy as well. Season 23 is going to be a memorable season, so much talent. 10/10
Nope. Only for Gleb it was first. Sharna had been in finale with likes of Noah, Nick before. As for Val, he's been in finale with Kelly Monaco, Zendaya, Rumer and Ginger Zee. And lastly Lindsay went into finale with Alek in season 21. So it's the opposite of your inference.
DWTS competitions are a couple thing, so between Laurie & Val and James & Sharna, it is obvious that #TeamStopAndGo 's relationship/ bond/ chemistry are on an entire different level, which is why they also deserve to walk away with that Mirror Ball Trophy.
Miranda Tong Val and Laurie deserve it because they got higher scores and more fan votes also they have just as great of a relationship it's just more like a brother sister relationship whereas James and sharna have a more romantic relationship. In the end the person who had more fan votes and was the better dancer overall won the mirror ball. It's a dancing competition not a chemistry competition.

I don't think he was on that season. I know him and karina lost to Derek when they were in the finals. I'd say as far as pros go, Derek and karina kind of have the magic touch not just with each other but in terms of partners. Here is what I mean. Karinas past partners all had one or two things going for them similar to Derek. Like Derek, karina has had these two features, either someone who came in with a decent fan base or a very hard worker who grew on us even if they were unknown. Although like Derek, karina also had the no cutting slack personality, she was so dedicated that she always had to mask her partners weaknesses. To the ones who are upset that certain people lost or got as far as they did, sometimes you have to think if they came in with a fanbase

I wish Julianne qualified this statement, and not put this target on his back. Best from day one? Of course not, especially if compared to entertainers/dancers like Alfonso or skaters like Charlie. Quickest to progress from a non-dancer to someone you actually want to watch? Perhaps. One of the very few men who could lead / quickest to learn how to lead? Quite likely. Best attention to detail? Maybe. Best partner connection? Well, Julianne wanted more chemistry, but I agree with Bruno - Nobel Prize here. Anyway, "best" is really an oversimplification for something that requires showmanship, athleticism, personality, technique, acting, work ethics, and some unexplainable magic that impacts every viewer differently. From the context of the comment, it seemed like Julianne was impressed with finesse in some of his rumba movements, but I'd love for her to unpack this.
