  • Very similar to the pedestal brother. Just a lot smaller, but it’s still just as quiet. Pretty decent for what it’s marketed as.

The twist ties are the perfect trailer trash addition to compliment any room in your double wide.

For anyone trying to figure out how to disassemble the front grill of the fan, there is a simple trick to make this easy. You unscrew the screw at the bottom of the plastic ring, then flip the lever down and put a flat head screwdriver in between the metal halves of the finger guard. Not the plastic but in between the metal parts. Then gently twist and the two halves will separate and you can remove the front. The back one only comes off after you unscrew the fan blades (counter clockwise) and then the other plastic nut holding the back on.

I recently set-up some computer equipment at one end of my livingroom, which includes external USB hard drives. They run 24/7/365, and they are somewhat hot to-the-touch.
I think that any fan, running at a slow speed, with the airflow pointed at the drives, would make a huge difference. I am not looking to cool the room; only the USB drives.
But since this is in my livingroom, where I watch TV, and I listen to music (quiet music, at times), I do not want to hear the fan.
The fan that you demonstrated in this video seems like it is what I am seeking. I am just not sure if the slowest setting (Silent Night) will push enough air.
    Four questions:
    1) On the lowest setting, is there enough of a breeze to feel the air from 2 or 3 feet away?
    2) If I have to go to the next speed setting, is the fan still quiet?
    3) In a very quiet room, will you hear the fan on the next to the lowest speed, if you step 10 feet away?
    4) Can you tilt the fan downwards?
If you have any other brand or model suggestions, please let me know. And please note that I will be running the fan 24/7/365, so it needs to be well made.
    Thank you.

wasn't wanting to spend this much on a fan, but this review pushed me over the edge. I need a quiet fan for when I'm recording music, get's hot as hell in here with all my equipment. Well made video! Sharp looking fan too. Not the worst $150 CAD I've spent. Though I think Amazon is gouging me looking at what you paid for it lol. Is there something else you would recommend for silence, around this price point? Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words! Yes it’s a sharp looking fan that is perfect for recording music with. My only other suggestion is the Energy Smart collection from Vornado. There’s quite a few models to choose from but they don’t look as nice as the Rowenta does. The Vornado’s can take a beating running 24/7 as well if you need them to.

Does your fan make a ticking sound on "Silent Night" mode? I just got the same fan today and it won't stop making a ticking sound whenever on the quietest mode. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should return it for a new one :/

    • @fansgalorellc621
      @fansgalorellc621  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Mine is soundless on the low speed. I’d return it. It’s much too expensive to be making noises on the low speed IMHO.

justin lang I have the air purifier version of the bladeless fan and I absolutely love that. I think if you want the bladeless fan, go for the air purifier. You have way more control over the fan.

My wife bought this today. She paid 110 dollars . The remote doesn't work . Yes I put a 2032 in it. The blades are not balanced properly. There is a wobble in it. I would expect a better product for 110 dollars. What a piece of junk.
