Hwasa's original title was "Excuse You, I'm a Bitch" but the censors wouldn't allow it. So she went with the wordplay. It still appears on her sweatshirt. The song is supposed to be the bad outcome from Maria. She's wearing the same dress as she was at the end of the Maria video. It's easy to miss but she does flip us off momentarily and the choreo includes the sign language for asshole.
Thank you for pointing out that the cropped red shirt is a Winnie the Pooh reference. I've listened I don't know how many hundred times to the song and never caught it. Piglet always seemed to come out of nowhere.

I really like both songs and was surprised they weren't hits. To follow up on Martin Schafer's excellent comment, it seems to me that in I'm a B we're seeing an alternate universe where Maria is reborn as a badass b after committing suicide and the beginning is a groaner of a visual pun where she's born from a box. Check out the performance video when you get a chance - she kills the choreo.
Love the way Solar used the mask and sculptures to make the point that folks who come after her with honey dripping from their eyes because of her looks, image or public persona and set her up on a pedestal like an idealized art object are going to have their illusions shattered because they don't see the full color spectrum of who she is inside or know her as a person. I like all the songs on the Face album and the video with live versions of the songs is excellent. Btw, as if she didn't have enough to do rehearsing her next musical, which opens in less than two weeks, she's releasing another song or album in her Solar Gamsung series later this month.

I’m starting to see how hard it is for K-pop solos. So many songs Ive found and love I’ve come to find weren’t as big as I would have thought. I guess it’s common for groups but never understood why if the song is good and you already love the voice. I notice playlist and stations focus less on them too. What is this Gamsumg series? When I saw her looking like a snow angel I checked it out but still having a hard time understanding what it is. I went searching for all the parts but there are seemed to be multiple vids per part. I felt overwhelmed 🥲

@@DiaryOfAKPOPIntrovert I have no clue why great songs get ignored whether they're group or solo tunes, but then again I'm so rarely in step with what's popular that I'm the last person who should have an opinion on the matter.
Solar Gamsung is a series of covers she started in 2015. She released about 8 or 9 with MVs between 2015-18 that were collected on her 2018 solo album of the same name. Gamsung means emotion or sensitivity. All of them are gorgeous ballads except for the fun 90's k-rock song It's Been a Long Time, which she arranged new wave style in a tribute to or parody of Blondie with label mates Onewe playing the band in the MV lol.
Solar always said that she'd continue the Gamsung series but Love Has Gone is the first she's released since 2018.
Solar can definitely be overwhelming but these songs aren't going anywhere so take your time and enjoy the ride. Btw, have tissues handy when you get to Nada Sou Sou - it's rated 5 hankies on the emotional wrecking ball scale. 😂
