Great feature to have available to turn on and off. I don't need it because I drive responsibly, but there are a lot of people out on the road that absolutely need this on, mandatory!
How to replace the lane assist camera in a 2016 Ford Explorer? From where to get the part number of it to purchase?
there no on/off switch to turn of my lane keeper system in my 2023 f150 xlt why?
Yes I do have questions. I have a 2020 hybrid fusion. The car doesn’t recognize clear lanes that been clearly marked for 80% of the time. Even when it does see the lanes, when I start moving into another lane slowly, it barely ever even warns me, let alone steer me back. I’ve driven a Kia Soul and I could let go off steering wheel and the car would drive me around the corner on its own. Why is fords lane Assist so weak
The System On/Off is in "Settings"/"Vehicle".
Can I get this added to my 2014 Ford Fusion? And also adaptive cruise control?
It's simple enough. A single file.
I just wanted to know how to turn it off. Everytime I intentionally change lane, without using the indicators ,the steering wheel vibrates. On UK motorway the use of indicators when changing lanes is not always necessary, and when moving back across a lane after overtaking ,it not mandatory.
gavin Reid it's a dangerous,unnecessary feature. If,I knew where the fuse was,I'd disarm it permanently. No driver should have to fight with the steering wheel when passing parked cars, as it tries to pull you back into lane!
Then just deactivate it...
I hit this by accident, didn't notice until my wheel wiggled a bit when I passed somebody. It's a new car, made by Ford so I just assumed it was broken.
