I have the feeling this could turn around like the vampire story Willow once did "visit from a vampire" (same vibes from the way the characters hold themselves). Where in the second part of the story she turns around and looks in retrospect to see the damage she has done to the listener emotionally. That by holding him to close and forcing her affections on him she has only driven him away. Expecially from her acts of "kindness" and "love" Edit: fixed a few spelling errors (for some random schmuck) and added more context.
