He's actually pretty f2p friendly , one of his best 4* star bow is Hamayumi , a really easy refined weapon. Also you don't have to use kazuha on him if you got Zhongli instead. (And no it's not a dmg decrease since your Lyney will deal more CA overtimes. Just don't put any useless EM piece on him and Xiangling.
i actually went for full comfort and changed kazuha for sucrose and xiangling for tankfei so i dont gotta get as close to the enemies and can aim in peace (i have no mouse, i cant fkn aim properly) and it still works so yeah, that's an EXTRA f2p option lol
hamayumi actually isn't great on him, because in order to keep up hamayumi's passive, you'd want to never use your burst, and lyney's burst is a pretty good chunk of his damage. prototype crescent can be just as good as long as you aim for weak spots. you're definitely right about him being f2p friendly though, cause you can get xiangling for free from abyss and you can get a bennett through the current event.

Imagine being so angry that a new character is either equal to or better then your fav. Ganyu and Hutao have been able to consistantly clear content so even if a character is better or equal to them, it does not make them useless, but they get even angrier that the character is male. They ask for proof/calculations that Lyney is not trash but if they look at his multipliers or passives it is right there, a 100% damage bonus for mon pyro and a burst multiplier higher then Hutao's. And you can look at his multipliers without even having him. They should be anrgy that dendro powercrept their favs not Lyney because that is even more real.

@@josecharneco yoimiya got similar treatment because she was a Hutao and Ganyu competitor due to her element and weapon type. Saying she is weak because she has no AOE, yet there are times in the abyss higher chambers when you will have a big boss or maybe less then 4 enemies in a chamber if so Yoimiya can do well and in single target can even out do them. Though Lyney gets it worse because he is a guy. Many Ganyu/Hutao simps are saying Lyney is worse because he has no AOE, sure his charge shot has no AOE but his burst is a huge nuke with higher multiplier then Hutao plus his 100% bonus damage is meant to help him overcome lack of reactions. I can pretty much spam Lyney;s burst every rotation along with his AOE skill and charge shot damage so he actually has decent AOE plus if you use Xiangling she can also help with AOE but even without her he is still quite good. Due to many showcases showing comparisons against a single target enemy those who don't have Lyney can't see that he has AOE so they make assumptions.

Developpers include more and more mal chars for their feminine audience because we want our husbando too ! Enough is enough ! Lyney is not feminine at all, he is elegant, charismatic and it's fit perfectly to his lore. Neuvilette, Lyney, Freminet and Wriothesley : these are characters that will appeal more to feminine audience so I'm really glad that male pleasure is not in the center anymore in games. There are still more female chars, more female skins and archons in Genshin but I appreciate the effort from developpers.
