PC Ent. Yeah you have to face people on superstars and stuff on the challenges to unlock people like Stone Cold,Rock,Jake the Snake Roberts,oh yeah and Jimmy Snuka But remember you had to play Universe mode to unlock people from ECW and stuff

SD vs Raw 2011 to this day is my favorite wrestling game for numerous reasons that you covered. The 2K games don't have the replay value.
How does the gameplay compare to 2k? Is it similar simulation style gameplay or arcade style?

For me in the ps2 version before a title scramble match would start and the rules would display Michael cole would always say " Vance archer going for the cover"

Im 13 Years old, and I wanted for Christmas SVR11 on our PS2, and I got it and I love it
Once the series went to the 2k style, I lost interest. The control style from the Smackdown series was good enough to pick, learn, and enjoy. I bought WWE 2k18 on Black Friday, played it twice, and never played it again. The ultra simulation style turned me off. It was way too many button combinations to do simple things. I enjoyed the selling and the psychology of the system, but the controls were blah.
What i LOVED about that game is the debut of the directional throws..and also the selling when people landed on ladders or steel chairs
Played this game for absolute hours that it got to the point where even playing on hardest difficulty felt too easy.

I would say 2011 SVR arenas looked colorful and probably better looking than 10 and 9 in some areas cause their arenas looked dark a bit despite the characters looked good
Universe Mode is ALL I ever play. I have the most control of anything and everything in my WWE world. If it ever gets removed, I quit buying them

Agreed SvR 2011 has to be one of the more underrated games of the series I still go back and play it from time to time myself.

The blood engine in this game was 10x better than the last 6 WWE 2K games,I actually thought 2K15 was gonna be the G.O.A.T. when it came to blood engines but it turned out to be a glitch....
2K14,SvR 11',SvR 10',SvR 06',DOR2,WWF Attitude,and yes WCW/nWo World Tour had the best blood engines for any no DQ match

In my opinion the way WWE Universe mode could have been better is if you had the option on cutscenes to decide what your superstar does to the opponent like something similar to SDLive HTCP Season mode or SVR the first one

Let's not forget that SvR 2011 is the only WWE game where you can land on the ropes if you're ladder is pushed and it's also the only WWE game where characters' skin would turn red if you hit them repeatedly.
SvR 2011 is my favorite WWE game of all time. Only way it could have been better is if it brought back GM Mode.

The Wrestlemania storylines were so good. Please get rid of Showcase and whatever the fuck and bring back the original storylines. I loved the Rey Mysterio storyline, the Undertaker storyline, the Christian storyline, the John Cena storyline..... SO GOOD

The best part of this game was when you played the custom road to wrestlemania, Vince would come out and tell you of a random new opponent and then you would unlock them on the game! Wish they still had all this now! the ladder matches didn't have the stupid mini game and was unpredictable.

This can't hold a candle to smackdown vs raw 2010 on DS it had a free roam RPG campaign where you can pick every move you have and cards that slightly affected the game like hornswoggle doin a tadpole splash it was basically your finisher. Did I mention this game was on DS?
Here are things in the DS game that shouldn't be
1. Ambulance matches
2. Ladder matches with an in depth mini game to climb the ladder
3. Local multiplayer
4. Your create a characters moves are based off of an (5.) in depth stat system, where each move needs a high enough stat level to unlock certain moves
5. A gym in the story mode where you play mini games to build stats in strength, speed, submission, and stamina.
6. Backstage brawls that can happen IN YOUR HOUSE
7. You can buy swanky houses
8. It had a story mode where you get EVERY SINGLE CHAMPIONSHIP at once so the ECW belt, IC, US, WWE, and world heavyweight
9. The story affected you in little ways like an RPG, for example either go meet Vince at the office or meet Kelly Kelly. If you meet Vince he gives you a $1,000 bonus if you meet Kelly Vince gets mad and takes away $500
10. It had music that wasn't just entrance themes
Even a video game was aware of Big Show switching back and forth from heel to face

I liked the fact that the menu music was wrestler themes. I remember always singing along to broken dreams in the menus. Also I had it on ps2, and it was kinda better than the ps3 version.
