    Thank you soooo much for actually doing a how-to video, without 10 minutes of your life's desires, then another 5 minutes why you need to like and describe.
    I remember many years ago, when you wanted to watch a how-to video, and... well, it was a straight to the point how to.
    Now, everyone wants to be an influencer. A two minute how- to video is 30 minutes. Again, thank you for getting to the whole point.

    Can you wash the fabric? This technique would be cool on tshirts, but doesn't seem like it could be washed...or if washing was okay, I'm guessing the shirt would have to be hung dry?

    Hi, Deidre, I was wondering if you've done a video of how to repaint outdoor fabric? I have some cushions I love but don't love the design on them. I was thinking of painting over them, but am not sure how.

    Nice idea! Do you have any tips or tricks on keeping the mod podge from becoming "sticky" later? I have done this on glass bottles and found that when I store fir following seasons, they get sticky, and they stick to the tissue I used to wrap them... any suggestions?

    • @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501
      @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok, try at own risk. I've heard of a few things that help...
      One is very lightly dusting the project with a powder (like corn starch). Use a big "powder" makeup brush or the like - floofy, super soft. Tap off most of the powder before lightly brushing across the project. Use your fingers to see if the tacky areas aren't tacky anymore.
      The other (don't think it will work on glass, though) was to rub a candle (any kind, but white is best to avoid coloring anything). You do it very lightly, laying down just the lightest layer of wax. Basically, the wax provides a very thin layer of protection against sticking (like wax paper does).
      I hope someone has an actual answer, however. I avoid Mod Podge just cus of this.

    • @nancygreer2263
      @nancygreer2263 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501 Yeah, this is something that will probably work, depending on the substrate. I was thinking maybe even the dishwasher safe mod podge, or even the outdoor one... the only problem with those is the cure time. This wax idea prompted me to think about, maybe using the clear wax you use over chalk paint. Thanks for the idea it might trigger a few more for me.
