It's a sweet build and I'm seldomly negative, but that front grille killed the soul of the Firebird. I'm looking at everything but the front end with envy.
It's not your car, or your money, or your time, or your decision. You are not and will never build a car that is even close to this so what you feel it needs is irrelevant. When I watch a movie I don't say, " you should have cast this person or you should have shot the movie in this country instead. I enjoy things for what they are.
I agree, I don't care for the front end either, I don't see "firebird" there. like Shaun talks about not losing the car in the build, But the rest of the build is incredible. And, it's not my car so it doesn't matter what I think.

The sheer amount of custom fab on the body, let alone the interior and powertrain on this one is.... masterclass. The attention to detail and respect for the car and it's existing personality is top shelf.
Man the speed that thing is capable of even though it’s all metal top to bottom. Insane! I swear every quarter I’m more and more amazed of the amazing shops out there and what they can produce
I love and appreciate all the hours of work and modifications done to this car. Kudos to them for putting back the heart of a Pontiac, back under the hood. The front end lost it for me tho.😢 What distinguish the firebird from a Camaro is the pointed frontend and four round headlights. To the average car enthusiasts, this looks like a heavily modified first gen Camaro. But at the end of the day the owner and builder like what they liked.
Sean mentions the uncontrollable smile. I remember my dad knowing I was a through and through gearhead as a kid for just that reason. Told me to start saving those pennies, it's one expensive smile to get in a league like this!
Sean says the same 15 things about every single car on the channel. “Man this is bitchin” “it’s the cleanest I’ve over seen” “man the amount of time” blah blah blah… he doesn’t know shit about cars, other than he likes to get laid talking about them.

Shaun, it's great to see this new shop. BBT Fab do incredible work. I was one of those guy's who use to buy just about every hot rod magazine that hit the newspaper stands. Nowadays since all of the rod magazines have vanished it's hard to see who's building the new street rods and selling the hottest parts etc. Does anyone sell any worthwhile magazines anymore?

What a fantastic build! The engine bay, interior and trunk finishes show how much work went into the design and fabrication. Oh, and finally some performance figures, so the rest of us can have and idea of how those 1000 whp drives. If memory serves a stock C6 ZR1 Corvette goes about 180 mph on the standing mile just to compare.
That was a kick ass poncho firebird I couldn't tell what kind of Pontiac it was when I first seen it it was totally different the nose and the rear end of it I couldn't tell except for the sidelines of the car. And I glad to see someone kept the poncho motor from Butler
I owned an '81 golden Firebird that I drove from Toronto to Edmonton on the Trans Canada Highway in 2007. The fun I had in that car! Was a 2nd gen F body fan since I was a kid.
I really like how you explained how many hours go in to it along with cost And to then go into the countless details incorporated Really helps to give people a solid understanding of what goes into a built
The metal work they did is out of this world. And the springs ans c02 for the turbos is mind blowing. For my Chevy pickup the first thing in bought was a volley dominator so I could have reaction control. The owner of this Pontiac i hope he knows how lucky he is
Beautiful ol'skool, it almost looks like a Camero & a Cudà, had car relation's and had baby ,from the front of the car.. like a Cudàmerò, mixed with a lil Firebird.. but still a beautiful car.. with a nice tab.. amazing art, & craft workmanship..
Quite obviously your team have employed a different individual to do your filming ,the shots are just beautiful i mean its spot on ,this type of vehicle deserves to be fimed in such a proffesional manner and in just the most perfect of locations ,to whomever is in charge of this shot i tip my hat sir ,outstanding work as for the Firebird ..........another Troy would be proud of this one ,im sure he would agree with me thats its a RAD RIDE
That’s an amazing car, not sold on the looks of the nose but I understand why they did it that way for the air intakes. I think it would definitely grow on me. Not that my opinion matters. It’s awesome to see it be driven like it should which definitely means a lot. As afar as the rear end gears, that’s an easy swap to make it a great street car with a 3.73 or something
Great build and nice to see Pontiac power with twin turbos. Wow over a million dollar build too. IMHO definitely lost the traditional 69 firebird nose and headlights in the front end. Still a magnificent build by all means. The fabrication is phenomenal !!! My brother built a 76 Pontiac TA did all the work himself. It’s a single turbo LS 6.0, 4L80 , ford 9 inch. Runs a 3.25 gear. Dynoed a conservative 938 rwhp it’s on my channel. It has more in her. It will run 200 mph. Everything is controlled by MegaSquirt. It’s beast and a beautiful TA also. Would be an interesting top end race between the two.
Pontiac as a company needs to come back, they had some very iconic model designs. We also need more competition to lower prices and force other companies to offer more for less.
Great build with so much attention to high quality detail. Everything is well thought out and executed to perfection. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This car build has “Ring Brothers” written all over it. It goes to show you that if you want to beat the Ring Brothers, you’re going to have to think like them.
Badass ride right there , funky head lights or not it’s just awesome, id love to go 200 mph in a car, I’ve been 147 mph on a ninja 1000 bike but I’m betting 200 in this car feels as safe as 100 👍🏼
@@AutotopiaLA only reason I let off the throttle was cause my T shirt was acting like a parachute trying to pull me off the back of the bike, and if I hadn’t looked down and saw the speedo reading 147 mph I would’ve bet anything I was running about 80 mph, it was at night to but when I saw that I said to myself woooweee I gotta get me 1 of these 😂

Right off the bat, the way the car sits.....it just amazing that caught my eye......and it is tough going past that , there is so much more to see
