Dear sir, I own the same ax-5 model and recently, while shooting a few indoor & outdoor scenes I realised that my inbuilt flash doesn’t lightens up and even after trying several different settings, this thing just doesn’t seems to be working. TBH i am just an amateur using this one since last 2-2.5 yrs, but with pandemic kicking in, i picked the camera after over an year, however, I’m sure I never faced any such problem with the flash illuminating, in the past. Have i goofed up with settings ? Could you pls help.
i had this camera in storage for a bit. it just seems to absolutely not want to charge anymore. do you think the battery could be dead? i have tried directly plugging it into my computer, also to a wall. :( any advice?

Cameras like the X-A5 will give you the ability to zoom, using an optical lens, have interchangeable lenses for greater photographic options, and have a much larger sensor, allowing more pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds when taking photos of friends and family.

Hi Alejandro. There's a chance you have the camera set to "RAW". You would need the appropriate software to be able to view them on a PC, and they will not transfer to a smartphone. Change the setting away from RAW only (like RAW (F), RAW (N), Fine or Normal), and you should be able to have your computer and smartphone display the images.However, if that doesn't resolver your issue, you're better off to contact the customer support group of the Fujifilm office in your country, as they are better suited to assist you. No. There is no way to have an optional viewfinder on the X-A5. If you are looking for an entry level camera with an EVF, have a look at the recently announced X-T100.
Hi Leah. When the X-A5 is charging the green lamp will be lit. When the light goes out, as long as it is still connected to power, the camera is fully charged.
I feel that this is a dumb question, but I just got this camera in the mail today. I went out and was trying to take photos with different settings, but they were all so dark! It was mid-afternoon and all my photos look like I took them at night with no flash. I'm not sure how to change this or what to do with the settings... please help haha, thanks!
Hey Hope. You might have rotated the exposure compensation dial (top right of camera), causing underexposure. It's also possible you have the camera in a manual mode, with incorrect exposure settings. Try putting it into Auto-SR, and then turn the exposure compensation dial, until the scale reads "0". Pleaee fuji get phase detection to work with all the other fuji lenses! Accuracy and speed is horrible with anything but the kit lens!
