You never slice the bread crust off before you make double ka meeta. It is the crust that gives the sweet a bit of soft crunch which explodes with flavor in your mouth. And you never slice the bread into tiny little cubes. If I need croutons for my salad I will cut them into cubes. Authentic double ka meeta uses entire slices of fried bread slices(preferably in Ghee) with crust and everything and you slightly smother them after you soak them in the warm sugar syrup and then add your favorite toppings such as cashews, raisins etc. One last thing : Never add artificial colors.

Food colour empty boxes don't throw in the fire it's released harmful gas . Pls use to throw it in dustbin. Don't use food colours in food items it causes Cancer. And digestive bag was going to spoil. Otherwise recipe was superb. But it was too long process.
