This song is off the chain! Ellie's singing has a great cadence, I love the guitarists wawa work and feedback and fret work is on fire, the drummer has those sticks jamming perfectly hypnotic with the beat, keyboard work is stellar, and they all sing tight/vibe with her. Total 🔥!!!
anyone know that line Ellie says after "our love is cool?" it doesn't appear in lyrics i have seen, and i can't quite catch it. something like "all up to.." or something
@Jack - that probably has more to do with singing on key. She couldn't hear herself sing in the mix. This seems like a difficult song to sing to start with (because there are lengthy parts that only have bass, which is tough to hear the key properly when singing to it). If you can't hear yourself singing, even worse.
