Has he been confirmed? I thought all of the M-sport lineup was still unknown?
@@AmbientMike Yeah it is confirmed and Elfyn Evans in the second car, but he might have to share his seat in some rallies. And latest comment from Malcom Wilson states only two car lineup for majority of the season unless someone with big money wants to drive the Fiesta

2018 rally cars were already faster than group B ever was. Just they use aero and downforce rather than sheer power 👍
@@MaxAinscoughRacing93 Group A was already faster than group b just a few years down the line.
GrA already, the WRC now also are faster on technical tracks of today. The stages today and back then aren't the same. Now it's more technical, there is speed limit (if you do a stage over the 80mph average speed, the stage is revised. Remember Tanak in Sweden 2017? Because of the 85+mph on stage 9, stage 12 was cancelled). So the GrB had the power, but was hard to tame. Today's cars are technically in another world compared to GrB cars, that's where their speed comes from. Suspension, brakes, gearbox ... everything is on another level. FIA will never allow GrB power to be available again, that's for sure. I remember the pilots in the 80s were complaining, that they are struggling with the cars. Today with such power the cars will be incredibly fast, which has no point if they apply the 80mph average speed rule anyway ...

Well at least the rollcages and safety systems would be better.. as long as their isn't hundreds of people lining the track it should be alright to bump the power up a bit, what do you think?

Rear aero and mirrors design. It was used since this year's Finland round of the WRC but only on Ogier's Fiesta
