Thanks for your video you can not find a lot of review in a live / band situation and it is very cool to do that !! Perfect !! Thanks again, cheers from france 🤟
Thanks I considering this amp and this was helpful. Im leaning more towards the silver jubilee 20w but not decided. Do you have any ideas on the jcm vs the jubilee? Thanks
Hi Richard.. I haven't played the 20watt Jubilee but I do know that it is well loved by many! I don't think you could go too far wrong with one of those actually. I have the full size 2555X Silver Jubilee and matching cab. Its a great amp. I may do a review on that at some point.
@@rarito1976 yes but I assume this is the only way to go from clean to dirty on JCM 800? I love the simplicity of them just never had one to experience the tone.
@@rarito1976 @jonahlmoore An alternative I adopted for clean sounds on the jcm800 was to use a boss line selector. In Loop A of the LS we send the JCM preamp signal and in loop B we connect a clean preamp pedal. This way, in mode A you will have the classic sound with the jcm drive and switching to mode B, the jcm drive is bypassed and you have your clean preamp pedal sending the signal directly to the JCM power. It works super well!
It sounded like u needed a little more volume, the drummer was very loud. My drummer is like a gorilla on the kit so it might not be loud enough for me. Carnt wait for the next video
Cheers, i got a deal on the Jcm Studio so went with that, thanks for your help.
Glad I could help... I LOVE this amp so much. It's a piece of kit that I will never sell. My go to amp.

Less headroom than the real Jcm800 so… How do you use the amp for cleans?
Great video, thanks.
How clean can a JCM 800 get?
@@jonahlmoore do you use the volume control?

I would say it works for your band, tell your bassist to add some mids because he was almost non existent in rhe videos
