I think the reason they were not seeing the books might be that Arron might not have added the compendium to the game. I found that out when I set up dune, but I also allowed my players to see the books.
You were absolutely correct. I had exceeded my limit for compendium shares so I had to delete some old stuff. Thanks for jogging my memory - it has been a while since I used Roll20.
FYI, powers like Accuracy, Might, Brilliance, etc, do add to the corresponding damage multiplier and non-combat ability checks, but they don’t add to defenses as one of the players thought.
Can't wait to see what fun you get up to :) Thinking about superhero games. Do you take requests? Have you heard of Rotted Capes? It's superheroes in the zombie apocalypse, where the PCs are B lister heroes and villains struggling to survive in a world ruled by A listers who turned into super-undead freaks. The system is pretty interesting, and rather unique.
A bit nitpicky, but since we don't have any symbiotes in the group I doubt my word choice in that moment will likely come up again. Thanks for watching.

29:55 the issue is that he doesn't have the compendium purchased most likely! I had that issue im still new to roll 20 and trying to figure it all out but that's how I solved it on my end hope it helps!
I have the compendium, the issue was I had too many previous compendiums shared and exceeded my limit. Once I deleted older game compendiums from my permissions it all worked, but thanks for the thought and thanks for watching.
