  • Looking for a super easy and consistent way to make incredible cups of the best aeropress coffee? This aeropress recipe will put you on the short path and transform your coffee on the very first cup.
    This recipe is an inverted aeropress recipe using the "long press" technique I learned from @alcheng88 on Instagram and this has become my go-to recipe for the aeropress.
    Absolutely incredible cups, every time. Let me show you how to use the aeropress and how to make great aeropress coffee!

    Very approachable and well presented style, nice job on the video. I like the written instructions card on the screen during the video, very helpful. Would be cool if you added it to the description also - I like to screenshot or copy/paste interesting recipes and save them on my phone for brewing later and it makes it much easier to refer back to. Think I will try this one soon!

    The visual gag of treating the Aeropress like a bong got you a sub lmao. Love things like that

    Great video and reviews! What are you thoughts on the relatively new Flow Control Filter Cap? Will it eliminate the reverse brew? Or detract from the final product?

    Your youtube videos have been great! Good stuff. Just putting this out there, how would you scale this down for an Aeropress go? I'm quite aware that 250g of water for the inverted method is pretty much full capacity for it as well (which is kinda helpful when I'm out and don't have a scale)

      Great question. I usually do the same amount of ground beans and timing, then just bypass the extra water into the cup afterward!

    Love the video, man. What I‘d be interested in would be the specific tastes ans attributes you might be able to get out of different brewing methods in combination with specific roasts.

      Yeah this is great. Huge topic and I’ve struggled thinking about how to break it down into digestible pieces! Suggestions welcome!

    • @herbigt
      @herbigt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DaddyGotCoffee not sure if this makes sense, but maybe start with putting a light roast through different prep methods (maybe Aeropress, v60, french press) and compare the taste notes? Then repeat with a dark roast. All use typical "default" values for grind size, water temperature, brew duration, etc. for easier comparison.

      Could start with differences in filtering methods and their relationships to taste and texture. I moved to the Aeropress for the novelty, but also filtration and volume.

      @@herbigt I didn't know that coffee enthusiasts drank dark roasts.
