What if you get your GC through marriage. The GC is 10 years card. Now you get divorced, and you have to wait for the 5 year rule to apply for N-400. Can you apply N-400 90 days before the 5 years complete?

Re getting green card through another route then getting married to a citizen: Is the ability to apply after three years relatively new? I got an employment based green card back in the day (1987) and though I married a citizen in 1988, I was told that the 3 year rule only applied if the basis of the green card was marriage.

Dear Sir, I was recently issued a greed card with a resident since date of 2014. I am paying my back taxes with a payment plan with irs (so far six payments have been made). Can I still apply for citizenship? or I have to pay the taxes in full for the past 5 years before I can apply. Thanks

I have a special case. I received my N-445 oath of ceremony, been married for 11 years leaving together filed for citizenship under the 3 year marraige. I have been a LPR for over 5 years but now I am separated and i have to put yes on the first N445 question. Will i be denied? I was in marital union at the time of filing the n400.

Can I get an answer from you, please? I went to America and exceeded the period of stay for 7 days after six months. I got sick. I went to the hospital twice. I have my hospital admission papers. Can I visit America again? No problems with the immigration officer at the airport. The reason I stayed for 6 months was that I visited many places. The visa is valid. The last visit was one year and five months ago. My visa b1b2

So if I go to my citizenship interview under 5 year rule they wouldn’t ask about my marriage?
