Hi ! What’s the device you used as a base for the wings ? I’ve been desperately looking for one !
While I may be wrong and you may not be interested anymore, I believe the base they used is mechanical wings from party city.

Hi! For anyone wanting to make the base, you can simply make folded wings, attack a string with a little hook and when you pull it will expand.

I'm a young teen looking to cosplay Hawks, but I can't get the things and help I'd need to make mine articulated like this. Could I make the base out of cardboard, nuts and bolts rather than what was shown in the beginning to be able to manually pose it? (Note: I have to improvise with stuff I already have such as cardboard, fabric, foam, etc. for all of my cosplays, considering I do not own my own tool supplies and my dad doesn't help me with any of this kind of stuff.)
