I loved working on this layout. I think with our team effort it turned out amazingly! You really have to see it in person to take it all in.

Aw thank-you so much! It certainly does feel like a journey, but one I want to continue! I've definitely learnt a lot and know where I could continue to improve! Its the friends and opportunities I've had along the way that's had the biggest impact to me though!

The layout looks great, and I wish I could make something like that but I won’t be able to because all I have is a circuit of track and a malfunctioning train that’s in the “works”.

Dang that station opening ceremony. I told them but they didn't listen I said "Red duct tape made into a ribbon that large is sheer madness. You could pull a train with that much of the stuff!" but all they did was continue making the darn thing.
I guess the old saying "Power corrupts but the power of duct tape corrupts absolutely." is the lesson we all learned too bad most of the volunteers were put in the hospital with like 30 different broken bones each at least no one was killed but you can't say "Luckily no one was hurt." cause that's a blatant lie.
Guess that's a birthday you'll never forget eh Step? Heheh you guys looked like you were having a ball hope my layout building has some of that in it.
Too right! This comment definitely made me laugh. xD The railway has since has many an insurance claim put against them. Ooh if you thought this layout build was fun, wait until the end of this year. ;) Something on a much bigger scale!
Oh lord all the paper work! All these forms in Decatuplelicate feels less like we're working for the railway and more like we're living in Thembria doing anything! (Hehe hope ya get that reference.)

What version of Bertie’s coach tour theme did you use?
Great layout question how do you ballast your layout, do you glue it down or just use a brush every so often to prevent it getting in the engine's wheels?
I glue it with PVA and water mix. Some bits still come loose but for the most part it's hassle free.

Hi! It's just modelling clay. Specifically DAS air drying clay, moulded together with PVA glue instead of water.
