The new £50 note character reveal and shortlist - Think Science!

On the 15 July 2019 we revealed that the scientist, Alan Turing will feature on the new £50 banknote. Turning’s work on early computers, code-breaking achievements and visionary ideas about machine intelligence made him one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century.
We expect the new note to enter circulation by the end of 2021.
