Thank you very much. I don't lose spears often, and I don't carry any spare when I hunt. I have some in reserve at home, but if I lose one while hunting, the trip is over... I am careful to go over spear lines, mounts and other equipment before each trip so that I am sure that everything is OK. That saves me from a lot of agony ;-)
I love your videos. Next august is my 3rd time traveling to Otrøya island and this time Im bringing a speargun with me for the first time. Had a blast freediving for scallops last year there. Can I ask you what gun do you use hunting for pollock/cod. Im thinking about purchasing Salvimar metal 85 cm gun. Thank you!
Hi Ondřej, and thanks for your comment. Otrøya is close to where I live (Molde) and I've been there many times. Very nice place. I have a Frivannsliv Hunter 95 gun, and I am very satisfied with it. It is precise and powerful enough for the hunting I mostly do: Cod and pollock. What you should think of when choosing a speargun is the power and range. That is determined by the length of the gun and the thickness of the rubber bands. In my experience, a good range can be decisive especially when hunting pollock, because they are not always easy to get close to. Having said that, I'm no expert at all on spearguns, and I'm sure Salvimar Metal 85 is a good gun. Wishing you the best of luck...
Thanks for the positive feedback on the channel. I appreciate that very much. Get in touch if you happen to be in the area and we'll go hunting together.
Love when you said "sometimes it's too easy so I let them go" respect haha

Thank you very much.

Väldigt bra video!
Vad är genomsnitt djup där du fiskar?
Gleder mig till att komma hem till Norge för att testa spjutfiska där
Tusen takk, Ludwig
Dybden i denne videoen er rundt 8-10 meter.
@@PASKSpearfishing Väldigt tacksam för svar! Hur lång bottentid brukar du ha när du jagar? Jag är ny i fridykning och spearfishing

Nice video! How thick your wetsuit is ?
Thanks Cristian.
My wetsuit is 7mm.
@@PASKSpearfishing thanks for replying! do you reckon I can manage it for an hour with a 5 mm?
From June through September I believe 5mm is no problem.
🤩🤩🤩 this is such a good news! Is there any tips or advice you would like to give to catch some fish? Anything ! Timings? Tides?
Where in Norway do you plan to go?
