      Brady didn't throw it deep because they lacked that play maker, Chris Hogan was a dead beat most the year, and if your going to make reference to Josh Gordon, he's no T Hill, he can't gain seperate like most deep threat receivers can... Not to mention they don't predicate their offense on hucking it deep hoping for a big play.

    If you watch the directness with which Gordon delivers that touchdown ball to the fellow in the crowd you realize that among all his demons he has a special kind of heart. The guy needs all the prayers we can muster...I ‘d love to see him healthy and back in a Patriots uniform.

      Gordon honestly appears to be a great person. He has the morals, but is haunted by his inner demons. It isn’t about football for him anymore. It’s about getting rid of his demons. I hope he can get clean, but first, I hope he gets well.

    This was one of Brady's "craftier" years. His skills regarding moving DBs with his eyes or pump fakes were on display in 2018. The Gordon TD against the Packers is a prime example of that.

(I'm a 49ers fan and like Brady I'm 41 myself, so you have to know that is hard for me to recognize that since I watched Joe Montana play) G.O.A.T. and a lot of former players (hall of famers) have said it and they know better tan the average fan, TB12 is the G.O.A.T....gotta respect the guy!!

    No decline visible here. Stats down a bit, only because of a depleted offense. No deep threat available or he’d be throwing it deep. There’s still plenty of heat on those throws.

      @lightyagami3492 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Joeybago12 well one thing kellerman does have right in his arguement is that the cliff is a real thing with old QBs. Manning was a prime example of this in 2014 we knew the cliff hit manning mid season but people denied it until the next year where it was plain as day. What kellerman didnt anticipate was that it was possible to play at a high level past 40 years old. Brady has set a new standard in that regard.

      Mahomes has Hill, Kelce, and Watkins, Luck has Hilton, Wilson threw for only 6 more. There are 6+ cases where Brady could’ve thrown it but instead gave it to Michel or Develin.
      Brady has, what, Edelman? He hasn’t even made the Pro Bowl. He has only 30 receiving TDs in the regular season his whole career. I love him, but you’re kidding everyone if you think he’s TY Hilton or Sammy Watkins. Who else... an aging and battered Gronk? He wasn’t very good this year either. His top receiver this year was a running back. James White was his best receiving threat.
      Brady managed to throw for 29 TDs with a running back as his top receiver, and he still won the Super Bowl.
      May I remind you what Brady has done with a deep receding corps? 50 TDs ring a bell? 3 MVPs ring a bell?
      Brady can throw for 5000 yards and 50 TDs, he’s done both before. But with Sony Michel and no deep threats, there’s no reason to/it would be unnecessarily difficult.
      Brady can throw 500 yards and 3 TDs, but he can also throw for 100 and no TDs. As long as he wins, he’s fine. Stats don’t matter to him, only rings. And he’s got more than the number of letters in his last name.
