      Thank You. This is just one part I wasn't able to capture in the past and since they moved the manufacturing into a new building I thought I would return for an update and cover this portion. Thanks for Watching! :-)

    I flew a very early Ventura II in 2003 while on vacation in Florida. If I'd had the $$ I would have purchased on the spot! What a fun and easy to fly airplane. I'm glad to see they are still in business. I went to their website and was rather disappointed, little to no info about the models/options available. I sincerely hope their business is in better shape than their website!

    Another in-depth interview with the heart of the manufacturer. The only issue I would want them to have other than a larger manufacturing facility is there was no mention of raw material supply lot information, or seeing the materials marked with lot information. This is critical if a supplier ever has an issue and they need to track down all aircraft affected by a lot recall. Maybe they have it controlled by some other means and he didn’t mention it? Just something I’ve experienced in the past and it’s not pleasant!

      John Paul Lafferty It would be nice to see Lot/Trace numbers

    • @ExperimentalAircraftChannel
      @ExperimentalAircraftChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank You for watching and also engaging here. I do believe that is all being tracked, just didn't mention that "detail" here. They are working towards an SLSA approval for a model and all that stuff I believe is "required." :-) Good point. Thanks for the mention.

      Experimental Aircraft Channel - I really enjoy watching your content and interviews. I just remember having the FAA up our buts about lot numbers after a mix of low grade Asian bolts made it into the supply system and were caught after a few failures. After that AD came out it was hell for the receiving department so traceability is one of my pet peeves. As our FAA rep would say, “I can give you a cert for a pice of dog crap and call it gold, but when and where did it come from”? That has always stuck with me.

    Good interview learned a lot about the Aventura Seaplane that I didn't know. I have seen one fly here in Michigan may be ten years ago . I don't think there any dealers here in Michigan. I think a one they offered an 103 ultralight of this airplane.

    • @ExperimentalAircraftChannel
      @ExperimentalAircraftChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct there are no dealers in Michigan. All direct from Florida. There may be a few flying up that way soon though I hear. Thank You for watching! :-)

    Great video, do you have any footage of the Adventura landing on its wheels. Or are those strictly for moving the aircraft in and out of the water?

    • @ExperimentalAircraftChannel
      @ExperimentalAircraftChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Thank You for watching. If you look in the description of this video there are a couple LINKS to other videos. YES. It lands on it's wheels. "Amphibious."

    How long start to finish does it take to build one of your 2 seat aircrafts?

      If you are REALLY interested there is a FB GROUP and a customer is capturing his build one section at a time and sharing photos. Search for Aventura Owners etc. Thank You for watching! :-)

    I used to own an Aventura and BUYER BEWARE! I LOVED the design and spoke (and flew) with the original designer, Kerry. So, after years, I ordered my Aventura (SO HAPPY). The house of horrors began. You will never get parts on time or even at all, or like with me, they ALWAYS sent the wrong part! Materials are weak & cheap quality. Very piss-poor company support (if any) and they almost never gave the correct advice for my building of my aircraft. Only the folks that already built their kits could help (most hate this company as well), AeroAdventure NEVER assisted with advice on building/assembling, despite all their claims of the "customer support". The owner, Alex is (in my humble opinion) the biggest dirtbag in the industry and never told me one thing true, so please BUYER BEWARE with these creeps. Buy a Searey and you will never regret it! I did! Searey all the way! In my opinion, this company, Alex and the Aventuras should be avoided. If you are set on an Aventura, buy a Buccaneer. They are older design but the way they were built is FAR BETTER than Aventuras.
