Watching but wanted to say, I want some of those sumatra agates! I have seen some bangers. That greenskin was cool and the second and third sumatran, the last one was really cool! Some of those Malawi’s had some nice colors. Different than the ones I have cut. Really liked the ones with geode pockets including the last one. Need to melt the calcite out of that one. Nice cuts altogether.
@JnVrockhounding Hey Jeff! I can get you a couple Sumatra agates! I plan on giving you some black river agates too to spice up your amazing collection. Sometimes, they have a big pile of Malawi on the driveway they haven't sorted and weighed out yet at The Gem Shop. I always prefer to hand pick my own Malawi. But their presorted bags are pretty good, too. I always appreciate ya watching, brother! 🤜🤛 Have an awesome weekend!
What a great See's Candy box of Sweets! Err.. wait a second.. scratch that.. What a wonderful table full of rock (eye) candy! (A bit closer to reality.. yes?).
@johnsaucerhunter Howdy, John! Reality can be boring. But, you, my good friend, make it so much more splendid with your funny, kind, and witty words. You must permit me to send you a box of goodies one day. Thank you for watching. Have a great day 🙂
That was a beautiful bunch of agates you have there! What beautiful colors and patterns. They are all so different but gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your lovelies with us Shawn❣️
@largent45 Hiya, Lisa! The Malawi are all very unique and beautiful. They are very fun to cut open. Even the duds make good tumblers. But, I'm really liking these Sumatra agates that I've been getting. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you're doing well 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!
@@outdooradventureswithfayde6832 I am doing well! Thank you for saying that! I hope all is well for you as well! I watch as many as I can. I don't get much time to watch TH-cam these days! But I try to watch your videos when I can!
@TheAdventureCloset Hi Charlie n Liz! Oh yeah! The colors are so cool on them. I will definitely share the results. Malawi are perfect for me on the flat lap. And they do great in the tumbler. Fun stuff. Have a fantastic day! 🙂
All of them are sweet, cutting rocks is so much fun. I need to clean my blade up. Nice variety, color, patterns, cool how these formed! 5:51 that's super cool! 6:18 wow!!!!! 8:43 I like thst one, cool color. 10:56 pretty! 13:30 nice bands! 14:10 beauty there! Look forward to seeing some of these come out of the tumbler!
@CityRockhounding Hey buddy! You listed all my favorites! I have next week off now. Not by choice. Lol. My work is shutting down for a week. I was thinking of going on a road trip. I was thinking either down to Missouri or maybe to see you if you're free next weekend? You definitely should fire up the ole tile saw! I'll definitely keep you posted on the progress of these.
@@tigereye508 Hello Tigereye! Thank you very much for letting me know which you liked best! Each Malawi agate is so different and unique and has such pretty colors. I appreciate you watching. Have a great weekend 🙂
I do like the colors in 12:12 ! 13:28 is really pretty as well ! 14:20 is another fav out of the group. Enjoyed seeing all them agates ! Have a great upcoming weekend😊
@upnorthadventureswithccc Hi, Cherry! Excellent choices you liked. The Malawi tumble up very nicely. But, they are also perfect to polish on a flat lap. I'm kinda bummed about that quartzy berber agate. I was hoping for something better. You just never know when you're cutting open nodules. Thank you for watching 😊
it is very hard to pick a favourite , but I really rather liked the little uncut ones that you plan to tumble , even the first ones that are more simple are lovely with the dark trim around the edge , nice to sit and relax , enjoy a lovely peaceful moment looking at little wonders of our planet , a little bit of natural wonder with a nice chill host , thanks for sharing x
@111bexstar Hello, Bead Pie. I spend lots of time holding the different rocks and looking them over and just admiring them. Some I just want to leave as is and tumble them as they are. I have a shelf for beautiful raw agates as well as a shelf for the pretty polished ones. To me, it truly is very peaceful going out looking for rocks on the beach or along a trail I'm hiking on. Thank you for watching. Have yourself a splendid weekend! 🙂
@AussieRockhoundingandAdventure Hello Courtney. Tell your mum hello, too, please. 🙂. I agree it's hard to pick a favorite. That's a good issue to have. Sometimes, I get a nice batch of rocks I'm playing with that are actually worth sharing. I'm very pleased you liked them. Have a great weekend!
... Strangely (as John scratches his head), I was just thinking the same thing.. I wonder what's inside Shawn's Agate's? I swear the Universe is amazing when it come's down to coincidences !
@wilbondcajunrockhound5758 Hey, Wil! Yeah, I'm not a fan of the agates that end up being mostly quartz. But, the rest of them more than made up for it. Thanks for watching 🙂 Have a great weekend!
@soul_adventurist Hello, Cheryl! I like that dinner and dessert all in one batch of agates. 😊 I was so excited when I cut into that agate geode. Many thanks for watching, my good friend. Have a wonderful day!
