Huge effort everyone, take my hat off to everyone who participated and all the organisers. A lot of us think we're car guys and we work hard on our stuff but this is the real pointy end of what you can do with a car. Amazing work all round, roll on 2025.
Could listen to Frank talk all day. He’s selfless attitude and acknowledgment of others is all class. I’ve said it before on many forums about Frank, if he says “this is what I do and recommend” that’s enough for me. He’s engines are proven, he’s team is proven and his ability to get multiple cars through these torture tests consistently over the years is second to none. Ripper bloke too. Thanks for the uploads this week, coverage of all aspects has been amazing. Shout out to Scotty, you did it mate!
@ he really is. Adam and the team at MPW are brilliant fabricators and know how to build a drag car, it’s no surprise they have a Dandy Engines, engine in their car. The work ethic of both workshops is insane. I remember Frank saying when he was going head to head with Harry “Don’t let Harry fool ya with his I just rolled it out of the chook shed talk, they guy will out work anyone to get the job done” I hope Corty brings out Pop one day again
Absolutely agree. I'll most likely never meet him but as someone who's had big engines built and been taken for a ride when I watch and listen to Frank the guy just oozes honesty and integrity and there would be no one else I'd get to build me an engine than him and the guys at Dandy. Bloody legend for sure!
Thx to Street Machine for the vids everyday it has been awesome to follow along... Great work by all the SM team and especially those competing. 🤙🤙 Man those Godzilla's are the real deal..
Great content team! Great event and it’s good fun on any budget. Be great to see some behind the scenes film from the trip from town to town. Great Aussie event .
Fully sick! Great viewing. Well done to all the entrants.what a mad week! Congrats to Adam and the MPW crew. Proving that they will not be beaten, by anything!
Just frikken AWESOME :-) What a line up of cars too, I've sent a few links to mates in the USA and they are loving it! The Cars, The People, The Bubba doing Bubba things............
It’s like watching Ablett Sr or Daicos leaning back and launching a torpedo from outside 50 back in the day……gun barrel straight. What a car and I’m a Holden guy through and through. Some absolutely beautiful cars of all makes and engines, but the XA and HK Premier were my favourites to watch
@@GODEES77 I'm with you. Holden guy but mate that XA is beautiful and goes like a rocket and gun barrel straight. What engine is in that? I see it's blown but would love to know the cubes etc.. Cheers
Would you guys ever do a drag and drive here in WA? I know we only have one track, but a no prep 1/8 mile races would be awesome and something new for WA Keep up the good work guys are the videos and content are always on point
I'm rather amazed that the rozzers haven't got their paws on this event. Practically every single entrant could be defected and bent over. Adams Capri is practically a doorslammer with a towbar and I've been pulled over for a non-standard looking exhaust.
Has there been any thought given to naming the overall winners trophy after Harry Haig 3 time winner from next year on ? Great win by a great crew , MPW the never say die crew.
Thx again to the Warriors and their Chariots, for the continuous endurance and determination to get to the end. Now you can go away and lick yours wounds, repair what is broken and the enjoy times with mates for the new stories to be told. Thx to all of the Track volunteers for their efforts over the past 4 days, they truly are the unsung heros. And we can't forget the SM crew for providing us such a treasure trove of content of the past 5 days. To you all, go Home, rest up and have a couple of cold ones 🍻🍻🍻🍻

I agree with that statement frank is a legend

Huge congratulations to Adam and all the team at MPW for taking out Drag Challenge 2024.
Didnt his engine make a window in the block end of drag challenge ?
great commentary and coverage taking us along the roads for the journey and insights in whats involved in having a great event !!!!
Awesome SM crew and competitors. Thanks for taking us all along for the ride.. Great win by Adam, he sure did work for it..

Great Aussie event .
Congrats to all competitors and thanks for the coverage was gutted to miss out on seeing the cars run in melbourne

!00% He’s worked his arse off. Not on just his car, but a lot of people’s cars and earned every inch of this victory. The haters are off their tree 😅
Great coverage, SM team. Thanks for bringing it to us!
Great coverage SM. You certainly know how to make this event popular here in OZ
Just frikken AWESOME :-)

Thanx brother
Congrats Adam well deserved you worked hard for that great team enjoy
2:24 this XA is perfection!
Easy my favourite too
Whats in it? Sounds wicked
@joelfrancis5391 it's a Godzilla. I'm pretty sure there's a video of it back when they first put it in the car
@@gerrym75 awesome. Cheers
Cheers top coverage 👍
Congratulations everyone
Best challenge ever❤😊
The T-model Ford only running 10s, but it’s still the narliest thing at DC 24
I watched a bit of Cleetus stuff over in the U.S earlier, but, for me to see and old Valiant run the 8's !! I'm a happy man !! :))
Sounds like Scotty has some stories to tell us when this is all over.
Well done!
The xa just puts it's self down the track so well

Only takes a switched on promoter to book venues and develop the concept look at Hardass1000 now have 3 events under their belt and get 100+ cars.
what a blast! few red hats handed out, will there be any more extra footage to follow?

Not to mention Theresa's kingswood and a VL with blowers poking through the bonnet. But still cool to see rigs like this driving around
Should be called Wallet Challenge…
Congrats to all involved. The blue premier rego TUF 350 is awesome. Does anyone know who did the engine for this one ??
Lots of early commodore Utes in various colours
Now there’s a class you could have
The Ute class
With the Aussie ford and gm rivalry
Scotty and Clubber Lang have one thing in common:
PAIN.
So entertaining… well done all
I feel like more then half the cars there wouldn't be street legal or is it everything is legal until you get the yellow sticker?
@@Hunty6199 I doubt any vehicle would be able to pass the street legal test.
Who cares really? They’re probably the most well behaved bunch of enthusiasts out there.

It's a pity mark drew wasn't there to go back to back out right winner
