Unfortunately no felonies. Battery on a peace officer is only a misdemeanor unless it involved an injury. Other than that it was just battery on a peace officer, disturbing the peace, obstruction and probably trespassing. He was probably out of jail before they could all write their reports. California sucks when it comes to keeping people in jail.

First off, the way the officers didn’t make eye contact with him or directly engage him during his break was amazing. Super high level of training and awareness of the situation. Then once they had him contained, the group went back to being calm.
