    Disassembly junkies! I flipped the show-side liner during re-assembly and didn't realize that it flipped the small ramp to the other side. I corrected that after-the-fact, but still have to use my fingernail to disengage the liner lock. If you didn't catch it, well I didn't either😆! Love you all!

    I think the liner was reassembled upside down, since the ramp looks like it helps with the lock access. I appreciate the reversible clip as a lefty. Definitely a knife to consider. Thanks for sharing!

    Beez, looks like you installed the liner out of phase/upside down. if you look at the back of the knife there is a bit of a cutout for the line lock that should be opposite the lock. Yea?

    Lefty love from CRKT, small to be carried like a pen, the steel isn't bad, not supersteel but decent steel. Overall for a "back-up" knife or a gentlemans carry not bad. Thank you BB.

    Nice review! I feel like it would be too small for me though. I love my CEO, and now my SEIS and they are longer, and that makes me happy. They make excellent restaurant carry! I do not worry about crap steak knives shredding my deliciousness anymore! Then swipe the blade on the bottom of a plate and its sharp again!

    I wish CRIT would've KEPT the thumb stud and ADDED the flipper as extra deployment means. Nice to have options on a slender little knife especially in the winter when lots of us have painful cracks in our fingertips

    I own both of the larger CEOs and prefer the action of the thumb stud better than the flipper! I noticed in your video the thumb stud flips quicker than the flipper tab that I’ve noticed as well. I’ve ordered a neck sheath for it to hang a neck knife for the thumb stud from a sheath manufacture. He hasn’t design one yet for the flipper tab version, but he has the neck sheath designed that I will allow access for the thumb stud on that CEO! It is super light carrying it around on your neck! Love how are you always zoom in to your knife dismantling to show the fine details!!

    Very com little knife Beez. Believe it or not a small knife like this can be great for carving and getting into tight spots. The shape is very reminiscence to a Sloyd knife. Thanks for the look see Beez and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

    Seems like a very nice office carry. I do wish it was a harder steel, especially because the blade is so narrow already, it will get "sharpened away" with use. But pricing is key for something like this, too.

    I got that CEO the big flipper, I carry it in my backpack, its the only knife I carry everyday. Sharp as, action on it is 2nd to non, love the look, the only thing I dont like is the lack of lock access. But in my eyes any cut out would detract from the rest of the knife. I love this knife its a bloody RIPA!!!!!!!!

    • @BeezBlades
      @BeezBlades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! The larger CEO Flipper is easier to access the lockbar, that's probably why I noticed the difference. I'm totally fine with the access on this one and yes, it does keep it looking sleek. Thank you Mr 2%!!

    I was a communications guy and in the early days and a spudger was your most important tool. In the old days of Step By Step switches, we used it all the time. As technology changed, it was used to adjust transmit and receive levels on the analog multiplex equipment. I left my favorite one in a Holiday Inn in Peabody Mass in 1979. Damn I missed that thing but housekeeping said they did not find it. If you think I was upset about losing that worthless piece of plastic imagine when I could not find my Benchmade 940 Osborne. I blamed the TSA for stealing it from my checked luggage. That damn thing eluded me for two days and it was right where it was supposed to be. After that I just left it home and she became a safe queen. Let's see if this pops up in your next random comment give away!!

    I am not a CRKT fan. The CEO has done a lot for the brand CRKT, perhaps its best selling model. I like the design and there are many alternatives from other companies that have the same form factor but use better blade materials and cost less. I very well understand that 8cr13mov is loved by many people. But I have never had good experiences with it. And there is a huge difference in performance with a small upgrade to 14C28N. So this knife uses a low grade steel for the blade, and steel ball bearings with an average cost of $50? No thanks, I will pass too many other knives on the market with better materials and a better price tag. But thank you for another excellent review, fast paced and entertaining.
