Finally someone that knows how to do full review of a resort, food and hotel room. Thank you. Well done. You should give classes of how to do a reviews like yours.
LOVED THIS REVIEW! I was wavering between 2 options and your video helped seal the deal! You answered all of my questions and gave great info that I didn't even think about. DID YOU JUST BECOME MY #1 TRAVEL BLOGGER?!? 😂😂 YEP!
Wow, thank you Siedafelder!! I'm honored to be your #1 travel blogger! Woohoo! 🥳 🎉 If you ever have more questions or need recommendations, feel free to reach out. I wish you safe and amazing travels in Jamaica! 🏝️😄
I love all of your videos . I’ve used your travel tip and suggestions for Paris and Barcelona . Thank you ! I didn’t like that the hotel had another’s country flag flying at the resort by the pool . My husband and I vacationed there for 8 days last year . The food was good and our massages were good but I didn’t feel like I was in Jamaica like I did before when visiting this location frequently before to be honest . The hotel only has 1 authentic Jamaican restaurant and it feels very timeshare - ish .
Thank you so much Katrina 😊❤️ I’m so glad you were able to use the tips and suggestions for Paris and Barcelona- this makes me sooo happy 😃 🎉 We also noticed a lot of Spanish translations and the Mexican flag onsite - we looked into it and discovered the Palace Resorts founder and HQ is based in Cancun, Mexico. I think other guests wondered the same thing, too, because it seemed a little misplaced. I also know what you mean about the “timeshare-ish” feel - they definitely wanted guests to book their next stay in advance asap…even though they claimed it wasn’t a timeshare 😑 we weren’t fooled, lol 😂 We would’ve loved to have another authentic Jamaican restaurant other than the Jerk Hut and selections from the buffet (honestly it could’ve replaced the Italian restaurant!). Your observations are on point 🎯 Thank you for sharing your experience! 👏🏽 💯
Hey Sharonda! The entertainment was so-so. There was live music in the outdoor amphitheater that sounded great, but for the most part guests did their own thing around the property since you can hear the music from multiple places. I think people enjoyed the Japanese steakhouse more than the live entertainment, lol 😂
Thanks! We didn’t encounter much seaweed during our visit that would make swimming impossible. The seaweed also depends on the time of year and tide, but we didn’t have problems in our visit 😊👍🏽
what does a smart casual dress code look like? i'm going here next weekend for my hibernian ave want to make sure me and my soon to be husband pack accordingly:) thanks!
Hey eggman! Smart casual looks like pants, jeans (dark wash, no holes), casual dresses, a nice top (fancier than a t-shirt) and a cardigan or light blazer for women and pants, jeans, or a button-down or polo shirt for guys. It’s not as formal as a business suit or formal attire, yet not as casual as shorts and flip flops. I like to think of it as a dressy date night at a nice restaurant 😊 Here’s an article that may help: www.masterclass.com/articles/smart-casual-dress-code-and-attire-guide
The beach was nice, Raul, although a little on the small side, but plenty enough space for everyone to spread out. Everyone can sit in a lounge chair on an as come first silenced basis. The premium rooms have access to cabanas, but most people were in the water 😊
I believe they put something in the middle to smooth out the gap between the beds, then put sheets over both beds so it looked like one massive bed. We felt a crease, but it wasn’t terribly uncomfortable. Hopefully this was just a simple mistake and they will have King beds available 👍🏽
Nice video! I want to stay here for my birthday but i want to bring a few friends, I wanted to pay for a room and listed as one adult while booking so it’s cheaper and non of my friends have to pay for the room. I was wondering if I did that can I get away with it ? Or do everyone need a wrist band to get into places there or to eat there which means they have to be added to the room ?
Thanks for watching! Usually the prices listed are for double occupancy (2 people in a room). At check in everyone listed on the reservation will get a special color-coded wristband to wear during your stay that doesn’t get removed. The wristband serves as the key to your room and other amenities, and lets the hotel staff/security know you are a guest (it’s a gated resort). If lost (or taken off), it costs a lot of money to replace it 😬 So everyone needs a wristband, which means they need to be added to the room. I hope this helps! 😊👍🏽
Hi Michelle! We don’t have children so I’m unable to provide an in depth review, but there are a few YT videos available from a parents perspective if you’re able to search “Moon Palace Jamaica kids club” 😊
I believe jet skis are banned in Jamaica (due to the deaths of a few people in 2014) and I don’t recall there being jet skis on the property. There are paddle boards and you can ride, powerboats 🚤, and those large inflatable chairs that are dragged by speedboats in addition to a fly board, but no jet skis unfortunately.
Hey Nicole! Thanks for watching 😊 We went during peak travel season in the summer so the rate was higher than in the fall. We were able to snag a sale which made it less than the normal rate plus we scored additional spa credits 🧖🏽♀️
Hey Queenie! All the restaurants are included without an additional charge - about 99% of the menu is free/included. However, there may be one or two specific items on the menu that you have to pay for (like a custom cake or premium seafood dish) 😊
Hey Nesha 👋🏽 I’d say the water is clear. I could see fish and reefs when walking it up until a certain point. Now is the water as crystal clear as when I cruised to the Bahamas? 🌊 Not quite, but it is still warm, blue, and inviting 😊

Great, review! I have one question about seaweed, does the beach has seaweed that make swimming not possible?!
Please, advise
Thanks! We didn’t encounter much seaweed during our visit that would make swimming impossible. The seaweed also depends on the time of year and tide, but we didn’t have problems in our visit 😊👍🏽

Great video 👍 wondering if gratuity is included? Do you tip at all inclusive resorts? When do you tip and how much to tip? Thanks.
Thanks TX! The only time we tipped was when the drivers took our bags from the shuttle bus to our room, other than that gratuity is not expected 👍🏽
Great review! How was the beach?
The beach was nice, Raul, although a little on the small side, but plenty enough space for everyone to spread out. Everyone can sit in a lounge chair on an as come first silenced basis. The premium rooms have access to cabanas, but most people were in the water 😊
Was there ample chairs at the beach and pool with umbrellas? What was the total cost for 5 days, if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks for a great review! Was it comfortable to combine the two beds or did you feel the crease in the middle?
I believe they put something in the middle to smooth out the gap between the beds, then put sheets over both beds so it looked like one massive bed. We felt a crease, but it wasn’t terribly uncomfortable. Hopefully this was just a simple mistake and they will have King beds available 👍🏽
Great to be place in Jamaica
Nice video..may be i miss that, but how long it takes transfer from montego bay to resort?
Thank you for watching! It takes about 1-2hrs, depending on traffic.

Woohoo! Welcome, to the F&C family, Lavell! Happy to have you with us and thanks for the sub 😊👍🏾
Hi, I saw that there is an arcade , is it included? Thanks
Hi Esra! Yes, the Game Center/arcade is included 😊❤️👏🏽
Very nice
Appreciate you, Valerie!
I’m sold
It’s hard not to be sold on this resort! Thanks for watching Tiffany! 😊❤️
I wanted to know at the resort did they have any jet skis in Ocho Rios to rent?
I believe jet skis are banned in Jamaica (due to the deaths of a few people in 2014) and I don’t recall there being jet skis on the property. There are paddle boards and you can ride, powerboats 🚤, and those large inflatable chairs that are dragged by speedboats in addition to a fly board, but no jet skis unfortunately.
Are the dress codes strongly enforced at the restaurants ?
I wouldn’t say they are strongly enforced…but I’d say that 95% of people followed the dress code from what I saw 👀
Thanks so much for sharing. Was the cost per night reasonable ? Did you a group rate?
Hey Nicole! Thanks for watching 😊 We went during peak travel season in the summer so the rate was higher than in the fall. We were able to snag a sale which made it less than the normal rate plus we scored additional spa credits 🧖🏽♀️
Great video. Small bathroom
Thanks! I agree, it is on the small side 🚿
which restaurants that are free to go without paying addiitional charges?
Hey Queenie! All the restaurants are included without an additional charge - about 99% of the menu is free/included. However, there may be one or two specific items on the menu that you have to pay for (like a custom cake or premium seafood dish) 😊
Did you get any type of discount on the room for that inconvenience?
We didn’t…but the massive bed was so much better than a regular king 👑 🙂
All those restaurants you mentioned are included or not ?
They are all included 🙂
How was the beach water? Was it clear?

@@FrolicAndCourage thanks so much for your response. Cant wait to visit this resort! Love your videos!
@nesha5367 no problem and thank you so much for your support 😊 the resort is gorgeous and I hope you are visiting soon!
Yes! I’ll be there in a few months!
Woohoo! Time will fly by and before you know it, you’ll be relaxing on the beach 🏖️ 😌
Was there a jacuzzi in your room?
Hey Jessica! We didn’t have a jacuzzi in our room, just the shower 🚿
Was room service an extra charge?
Nope! There was no extra charge for room service, Rianna! 😊👍🏾❤️
Y’all r VIP members nice
If only we were VIP members, haha! That would be nice!
"cha cha cha chia!" 😄
Haha, we’re showing our age 😂 IYKYK!
@@FrolicAndCourage 100% 😂
How was entertainment?
Other than a few songs at night, I’d say entertainment was “ok”.
HA - it is a TOILET - NOT a bathroom
Bummer Jamaica is now on travel advisor list
Yes it is 😕 Countries are being added and removed from the travel advisory lists all the time, so it helps to keep checking 🙂
