The best fourth down conversion of the season. NO becuse it dosn't mean anyting, It's the greates looking fourth down but it will not be rememberd what will be remberd is the biggest comback in Baylor histoiry down 28 point and winning the game!
The shrill of "IT'S CAUGHHHT" was the epitome of excitement and disbelief. Just goes to show you these announcers truly love the game and get caught up sometimes 😂
This just about has to be an all-time top-ten call. I've got no skin in the game whatsoever, and I almost jumped out of my skin when the pass was completed. AMAZING work behind the mic. "WHADDAYA GOT?" - right there with the rest of us, begging the QB to make magic happen ... and when his voice cracked not once but twice on "IT'S CAUUUUUGHT!!!" the call went from spectacular to legendary. Put this in the radio archives if there is one. I'm going to listen to it another 500 times now.
why are wht people always so concerned with the announcer over the play? i think it’s bc they’re always inserting themselves into whatever story they’re telling
Eric Collins is goated, always brings the excitement- even when he is stuck in purgatory commenting for the Hornets (Charlotte sports fans are also always stuck in purgatory).
McClain... Running out of time... Whatdya got?! McClaaaaaain! He's still on his feet!! Oh my goodness!!!! IT'S CAUGHT!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!! The game continues!!!....
@@KingJadInfiniteHope no it’s irrelevant I’m sure if you ask every single person on that team would they rather have a chip or a 71-9 season. Bet you, they would all taken a 60-30 season if that meant they won the chip.
@@nateybarra6792 everybody would take the championship team, that’s not the point. the point is that by win ratio, they are the greatest team in nba history and nobody’s gonna forget that. that’s history and it means something, this play is history now because of how crazy it is. yea they didn’t score after, but nobody’s gonna forget it.
incredible play! Rightfully so plenty is being said of McClain's heroics on the play but let me elaborate on what I saw out of the catch as well. I didn't realize that was their running back RJ Harvey. He did everything textbook that a receiver should do. First he found open space and made himself available for his scrambling quarterback. When the pass was on the way he realized it was a little short and came back towards it then caught it at its highest point, meaning he made the catch as early as possible, also obviously meaning it was a hands catch in which he couldn't use his body to coral it. Not the hardest catch, but not the easiest either. You know when you go up that a safety or db is on the way and in this case they even made contact almost instantly after the reception was made and he held on and then was able to pick up a handful more yards. Could not ask for more out of your rb on that play. When I saw the play at first, just based on the actions of the player making the catch, I assumed it was a receiver. From a guy who doesn't play the position of receiver, he did everything absolutely perfectly.
The moment he raised his voice I instantly recognized Eric Collins. That man's love for the games are unmatched, especially when the Hornets are playing.
"What did i just say it Eric ??? Whatever you have to do, i don’t care how you do it !!! You can run left, you can run right, spin backwards, jump over the guy, YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PLAY.... And timmy mcclain makes it !!! And rj harvey with a strong hands !!” Gives me chills everytime !
And this is why I love college football!! Them boys out there playing for it all. No game check...just heart and will!! And team spirit!! And a chance maybe to play on Sunday
