I understand why you think that. It was very good at portraying a unique kind of aesthetic, but some of its gameplay mechanics needed some work.

Aggro not always doing exactly what you intend with your button inputs just made it feel like you were dealing with a living creature. You may have difect control over Wander, but not Aggro.
Best in game horse by far, including animations, until RDR2 was released.
