Thanks! Squat and power bar have the same rough texture as they had to be sandblasted and heat treated. The way the plating/finish lays on the steel is also determined by the way it's been heat treated. Neither the Duffalo, Squat, or Deadlift Bars have been heat treated in the way the power or squat bar are heat treated. The Squat and Power Bars are significantly harder and have a higher tensile strength because of this heat treating process. This will also greatly impact the plating/coating on the bar.
Any experience with a Rogue bar with Aggro 2x? Thinking it might be the perfect knurl but no one seems to be reviewing it. What's your opinion on the Chewy that's currently on ABs website? 20 TPI and is volcanic.
the 20tpi volcano is more like the kabuki knurl, my 20tpi mountain (blem) from AB is much better and more people seem to like it more. I have touched the aggro 2x and I think you would use that more than the 3x as the 3x might be too aggressive. my hands hurt with rep work after the session for squats and bench. If I had the chance to do it again, I would have gone with the 2x.

the double black diamond power bar from rep has a unique type of knurling, i have it its amazing
