Thank you both very informative. Interesting to see what gets through. It’s good they are trying to look after their own citizens. You are looking well Skatz hope the treatment is working well.
Very interesting show Skatz and Chris. It looks like there are a lot of "it depends" in the air. Fingers crossed for your surgical consult Skatz. #stillalive
Great video. One solution might be to ensure that when a planning application is submitted for a new development it would only be approved if a % of the development was for social housing. works in the UK
Good description of the whole plan, thanks for the information. I think.as long.as the situation is made fair for.all involved, tenants amd landlords i think some of these steps will really help. If the government gaurentee rents will be paid then i would be happy to offer lower rents for the stability. I am a landlord in the UK and this used to happen here, but no longer unfortunately. Quite a few positive actions if they bring them in and it runs correctly. I camt see Sanchez getting the 100% tax through, though. Hopefully it will help and other countries will watch as this is an issue in many countries these days, even the ones without a big holiday let market. They need to build more amd sort the squatters out, more Landlords will then rent long term.
Holding property in Andalusia with a NIE only for property purchase, but now a Spanish citizen (months apart events), need I change of holding property (concordiance?) to avoid Pedro Sanchez’ 100 threat?
@@youtoospain so example would be to apply for NLV, move to spain, rent for a bit and within a few months you would be ok to buy as you would be a resident
@@cstanleyhns that would in my view be the best way to do it. ‘Try before you buy’ is good advice anyway, you don’t know whether a location is ideal for you until you’ve lived there for a while.
You mention Non EU non residents. What’s if you buy when have your NLV and buy a property and stay in Spain as part of the NLV… are you then a resident buyer as you will have an address and be living in Spain? Thanks for the update… informative and helpful

Thank you, I’m feeling better every day now the treatment is over.
Happy birthday Raoul 🎉🎂🎉

I’ll have to start wearing the It Depends tee shirt again

That was suggested on the show if I remember rightly, on the live chat. It’s a good idea.

That sounds like common sense to me. Imagine if politicians started using that!
Actually it’s one of the proposed measures.
Where is the town of “Locca” mentioned by Chris?
Loja is on the road from Málaga to Granada.

That threat, if it ever happens, only affects non-EU citizens
If the 100% tax came into play, under NLV, how long does it take to get the level of residency required to avoid it?
There are no levels of residency, you’re either a resident or not, and part of the visa process is registering as one.

Your already a resident so will be exempt, if this ever comes in anyway which I very much doubt personally
Yes exactly. Part of the NLV process is becoming a resident.
