  • 8 Easy Ways to Earn Passive Income
    Passive income is an excellent way to bring in some extra money while you're focusing on other important things. Passive income can be generated while you’re at work, while you’re on vacation or it could be just how you fund your retirement lifestyle. Income being made while you’re not actively working for it can allow you to pay your bills so you can retire. Some believe that passive income only comes through simple, common and traditional sources but there are many creative ways to make some extra money that you might not think of. These are some ways that you can easily generate at least $500 per month passively.

    Here’s a non traditional way I make passive income: I manage three airbnbs that my EX girlfriends mom owns. LOL. I started all three of them when we were together and I earn about 40k a year on them now doing almost nothing but messaging guests and coordinating with cleaners. I feel very lucky to be in this situation and to have an ex that is an awesome friend that didn’t kick me out of the game.

    It can be done. I invested $1,000 in my friends business where he was flipping comic books. He paid me $1,000 per month for like 2 years until he moved on to other things. Investing in other peoples successful or growing small businesses for a share of the profits can be a good way to get an outsized monthly return.

      Not really, plus he proposed the terms. I paid for the inventory and he sold them. I think I would pay for the inventory every 3-6 months, or if there was an opportunity to buy a lot of stock at a discount.
      Also, it wasn't a fixed payment back to me, we had agreed to split the profits like 80/20 (his favor) I think, and there was no guarantee on the amount returned.
      We were fortunate it managed to be successful and that I received an outsized reward, but thats compensation for my risk and exactly why I took it.

    You can buy containers and rent them out. You can buy supplies and tools and also rent them out. You can get a self drinking water dispensary where people pay quarters for gallons of water all work you have to do is change the water filter daily and take the quarters. You can also buy and rent vending machines to government businesses and offices like police stations. If you know the business you can rent out chain link fences and toilets to construction sites or special events it sounds dirty but your job would be an executive position mostly securing the contracts and finding the people to do the labor. You can also invest in a software program that for example process out parking tickets and subcontractor it to a municipality by bidding on it, so pretty much all is an idea until you secure the contract then you develop or outsource the software. Some coffee shops or ice cream dairies actually rent out the machines because that protects them from liabilities.

    Another way for passive income is selling covered calls or cash secured puts

    • @douggreen980
      @douggreen980 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@HuyLe-vo4pg have you ever had a margin account Huy? Just because it is a margin account does not mean you have to use the margin. You don't have to borrow, just keep a balence at or above $0 (specifically for selling covered calls). Selling a secured put is a synthetic covered call, your broker will require no shares to be held in the account, but you will need a lot of cash in case you are put the shared. I stick to the Covered Calls. You can also use call spreads or put spreads to reduce initial layout or margin requirements. Happy Trading, and best of luck to you!

      @jhicks8829 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How?

    • @douggreen980
      @douggreen980 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jhicks8829 you need a stock brokerage account that will allow options trading (most do, but some account types may limit the type of trade structure). To sell a covered call, you buy at least 100 shares of a stock that allows options to be traded. You can the write 1 contract against those shares (1 contract controls 100 shares) at a specific strike price for a specific time period. You should do some more research into it if you want to learn more. Alternatively, you can buy ETF's which will do this for you. NUSI is one in the US, but there are many more with varying dividends. Best of luck!

    Good ideas, about the properties an alternative is REITs, that allow you to own real states without having to manage anything on your own and diversify in multiples sectors without having to actually buy a property. I made a video about REITs that explain how it works.

I learned to repair things like cigarette burns etc. and even did repairs for other firms as well as fixing and flipping stuff I found at goodwill etc. Also delivered the new furniture, helped the customer "dispose" of the old stuff by flipping it for a few bucks. It was endless, it's where I learned what made me an entrepreneur and where I learned I didn't need to depend on a paycheck to get ahead. The kind of numbers he throws around to analyze a "regular Jane" ($60K in your brokerage account to start??) feel like the next level of gaslighting. :-( But anyway, not his problem that I've only paid my debts off 3 years ago, and didn't start investing till right after the summer of the 2020 pandemic. Let me repeat that: "RIGHT. AFTER. the summer of the 2020 pandemic." I was a fresh young 42 year old. This post has been written to raise awareness that us mid-40s fulltime + gig working suckers exist, have great budgeting habits, and just can't even get to the STARTing point of what these videos suggest as 'humble beginnings' from which if we only patiently and consistently wait and try, we'll be in the foreseeable future rewarded.

      Hmm...in most of the videos I provide tips that could help anyone become wealthy and I try to make it seem simple. I like it to seem easy to get started rather than making people feel discouraged.

    My advice to everyone is to invest in cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin as it may rise higher than this very soon and you will wish you didn't miss this opportunity

      As a Bitcoin investor and trader, its almost inevitable that you're going to experience ups and downs along the way but that shouldn't scare you off from investing

    I have over 270k in Vantguard and I'm not earning 500 per month. This is misleading

      He was talking about capital gains...when he mentioned dividends, he said you needed over 400k

      If that's not generating $500 per month in a combination of dividends or capital gains then you're doing something wrong

      My guy, try some altria stock 5yr chart looks horrible but your 270k would bring in like 1300 a month for other investments and its up 5% this year
