As someone who did the grind through plat recently it is pretty long especially if your not finishing top 3 everytime

I fully understand where you’re coming from. It took me a long time to get my first account to Elite and once I did, I felt so under skilled compared to a lot of others at that rank (rarely making top 4) that I started over on a second account, and it has helped me tremendously going back to my roots sharpening my skills to where I was able to make it to diamond in top three places every race

@@Lil_Clappa Well considering he didn’t play for 6 days it probably dropped his rank. Fortnite tracker shows he’s 64th but the official site shows 82nd fir his Unreal placement.
Obviously, If you don’t keep playing you naturally drop as others who keep playing, winning, and grinding points will progress.
I can’t see why he’d lie about it.

⁠​⁠@@Lil_Clappa I can understand that. Unfortunately, transitioning from controller to keyboard is different for everybody so I could assume a performance hit.
I mean Players like Tigeraura and CheeQu TTV are such naturals using the keyboard that it’s sick.
I’m no Champion, or Unreal ranked but I have 2 accounts in Elite (about to have a 3rd in a day or so) and it’s noticeable that alot more players are grinding and getting better in general to which I have no doubt that Unreal players are improving everyday as well.
On a side note, My biggest gripe is the catch-up mechanic as we can all agree how OP that can be for even lesser skilled players catching at the end.
